Excellent Doctor and Staff! By Delma Peara
From my first phone call and appointments the office staff, Alejandra, Gladis, Jennifer, Monique, and the wonderful compassionate Dr. Caton were extremely professional, caring, and attentive. I was treated with the upmost respect and empathy pertaining to my medical issues. The office staff explained their process of scheduling and took care of all my medical needs so effortlessly. Once I was seen by Dr. Caton his conduct towards me was the ideal demonstration of what a professional medical doctor should elicit. He is a prime example of how a doctor should treat all his or her patients. I would 100% highly recommend Dr. Caton and his lovely staff to anyone that needs an orthopedic doctor. You will be grateful to be seen by this office. I speak from experience about medical office treatment because I own one and it’s very rare to get excellent service from the entire staff including the doctor. Well I certainly found an excellent Doctor and staff, Make an appointment today! ThanksDoc

Broken femur and leg stopped growing
Back in 1985,or 86 my son broke his femur in a snowing accident in the mountains. The ambulance brought him back to Modesto and Dr Caton took over from there. He needed surgery and was in a leg cast for months. After he healed and had the cast removed, for reasons we never knew, his leg stopped growing. There was no injury to any growth bones that we know. Dr Caton told my husband and I about a device called the Ilizarov. It’s like the spokes of a bicycle, and he had to turn the screws every four or six hours to keep the bone separated so it would grow. He had the Iizarov on for about six months. I continue to thank Dr. Caton for what he did for my son. This happened the summer between eighth grade and freshman year in high school. Larry completed high school, college, married, became a father and has never had to wear special shoes to correct the height of his leg.

I am retired now and living in another state, but in the past I worked as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room with Doctor Caton for over 20 years. He has, what we call in that business, "good hands". That means his skill level and quality of decision making are excellent. As nurses, we get to see all doctors work and we don't grade their skills on a curve. Either we would trust a physician to take care of us and our family, or we wouldn't. Doctor Caton can take care of my family anytime.

Haven't been able to get the front office to do their jobs. Husband has been on Loa since NOVEMBER and they still haven't sent in his disability paperwork and are giving him the TOTAL RUNAROUND to get surgery. He has now run out of sick time bc this office doesn't know what they are doing. STAY AWAY if you value your time and money! There was no place to address these concerns so I gave a col low scores to express these opinions. Low score on decisions reflect his choice of office practices.

Avoid at all cost. Very poor surgical decision by this provider has lead to serious medical issues for me. He is callous , erudite and more concerned with his bottom line than his patients.
