Dr B. has a holistic approach to well being. Avoid inflammatories (sugar, processed foods, etc) exercise, and have social engagement is a solid message for any doctor to convey to his patients.

Dr. B is exceptional, very knowledgeable and professional, I couldn’t ask for a better provider, I feel safe at each visit, and I know he truly cares, thank you!!!

Dr. Buckingham seems smart and insightful, but unfortunately his office infrastructure and organization is poor ultimately leading to a negative experience. My last visit was a preventative care physical but his office billed me for additional treatments I didn't ask for or was even provided. Billing is outsourced and takes 5-6 months before a patient can even see what happened. Then when you question the bill, his office assistant Sheila is condescending and rude.  She doesn't take the time to look into anything and dodges questions as fast as she can to get you off the phone. "That's a question for our biller honey." She had me calling her billing company, my own insurance, sending me on a goose chase, and all the while knew exactly what she was doing in her very direct and lucid replies to my insurance company. I've never been gaslit like this before. It's unclear how aware Dr. Buckingham is during all this. He's either aloof or plays it well. I'll be looking for another PCP.

Best doctor I’ve ever come in contact with! He is so intelligent. Been a doctor 30 plus years and really knows what he is talking about. If you are in the need of a primary care physician look no more. Dr.B is where it is at! He doesn’t just treat the diagnosis, he treats the whole person. He makes going to the doctor so easy and always knows how to help me! I highly recommend him! Best doctor you will find in CALIFORNIA!

Flat out finest doctor I’ve ever known. Spent an hour discussing health matters with me. Where can you find a doctor today who gives that much time to his patients? Furthermore, the man is effing brilliant. He’s written numerous books, and from I’ve heard he is known around the globe. Whatever ails you, this is the guy I’d recommend. Extremely kind, and caring. Six stars.

This Doctor was AMAZING. I cannot remember the last time that a doc spent a long period of time with me in order to find the unlying causes and conditions of my medical problems instead of "putting a bandaid" on an issue or prescribing me on an array of pills. I would call this man a Doctor of Functional Medicine. He was the first doctor in forever who on my first appointment had read my entire chart thoroughly. He had familiarized himself with my medication, surgical, mental health, and every other sort of history imaginable. It's rare nowadays. He is very "old school." In my opinion, his treatment and message carry depth and weight. I was grateful to meet him on the road to happy destiny.

My name is pastor McGee, Dr. Buckingham has been my physician for the last 10 years are more and also my wife Prell he has been her physician for 30 years on more. He is a international physician of the year, internal medicine. And really he is one of the few doctors that knows nutrition and exercise as well as the nuts, bolts and washers. Dr. Buckingham is very serious about what he does in the advice he gives you which is always helpful. I know his staff love him my wife and myself love him.

I have been a patient of Dr Buckingham for the last 4 years and I can only wish I had discovered him sooner. One unique aspect of his care is the fact that, unlike nearly every doctor I've ever had, he takes TIME ... as much as you need.. to answer your questions and advise you on his methodology and recommendations. His expertise also utilizes many more holistic approaches, meaning prescriptions are not necessarily his only solution! This is unheard of today in traditional care.

He has helped me resolve a couple of health issues that other doctors I've seen were not able to do. He is attentive focused and thorough;and has an excellent bedside manner. Dr Buckingham quite literally saved my live by quickly diagnosing my sepsis.. frequently fatal, and spending the majority of entire night, along with his staff, applying the appropriate procedures and methodology needed. Without his expertise, I would not be writing this review. I have finally found a physician that meets my needs and I'm grateful for his dedication.

Dr. Buckingham is one of the few doctors who knows nutrition and exercise as well as the nuts and bolts of his many talents as a healer and a guide. I have a serious heart condition and he has coached me, held my hand educated me and kept the medication minimal. He takes the time to talk and be with me every step of the way. Healing the heart is very slow and tedious and does not always work. With him at my side I am getting stronger every day. He is saving my life and there when I need him. TLC
