After three visits I will not be returning to Dr. Bonitz. He's too touchy feely with me. A handshake at the end of the appt is fine, but pulling me in for a hug and putting his head on my shoulder is way too much. I felt uncomfortable.

Excellent first visit with Dr. Bonitz and staff
Very professional office and staff. Dr. Bonitz was very warm, professional, and most importantly took the time to listen. I left my first visit very confident that I found a great Dr.

This medical professional Dr. Bonitz has zero patience with his patients. Recommends an Rx and then subsequently recommends an over-the-counter medication that is inconsistent in dosage and does not explain the inconsistencies and hangs up the phone. Rude and disrespectful. I do not recommend this medical professional. Stay away.

Great experience
Dr Bonitz thoroughly explained the procedure ahead of time, answered all my questions, and was incredibly personable, knowledgeable and straight forward. During the procedure he put me entirely at ease, performed it quickly and efficiently, keeping me up to date throughout. His friendly manner and sense of humor made the entire thing a great experience.

Nightmare
My husband was rushed to the ER and a urologist was called. An angry disheveled man came into the room mumbling and complaining. He told us that his night had been great until we called. He refused to discuss my husbands condition despite (or because) of the neglect by his group while my husband was in the hospital. He was rude and condescending. He yelled in my face. He is a disgrace to the medical profession. Avoid this group.

Pleasant but not informative. Unnecessary surgery required? Didn't really convince me that my hospital procedure was necessary. Seemed as if he wanted to play with his robotic toys a lot more than the patience actual need to use them on. Especially the outcome (thank God) was all good. But now I'm left with other problems concerning my kidney, as pain/bloating/gas. which I never had before. It's a shame that you always go into a doctor's office or hospital with one condition and come out with several more. SCAREY.

I feel truly blessed to have been referred to Dr. Bonitz. I was very apprehensive of seeing a urologist. Dr. Bonitz’s approach was informative, kind, patient and immediately put me at ease. I was very disappointed with Dr. Bonitz's approach. He had me going for two tests and a follow up with him before he even gave me an exam or had my urine diary completed. I wasn't thrilled with his bedside manner, so I found a friend-recommended urologist and went to see her. She was much more thorough and attentive to detail. She basically had my diagnosis done by my questionnaire/urine diary alone, but also did an exam and urine tests in office that same day to confirm. She said the tests Dr. Bonitz was sending me for were unnecessary given my personal situation, which Dr. B hadn't taken enough time to find out.

Dr. Bonitz is a very skilled urologist, but what separates him from other doctors is his thoughtful, caring approach. His warm smile and friendly bedside manner is something I have seldom experienced. His staff in Shrewsbury is equally as friendly. I trust him completely. He is a blessing! Five stars isn't enough!

Dr. Bonitz is a caring and very talented physician. He takes the time to consider all factors in his treatment plans (physical, family, Hx, Rx...etc....), great diagnostician and just plain cares about you. At the end of the day, you want him taking care of you.
