Something was off
Dr. Bazzini was one of two hand surgeons recommended to us. Did like all the cute hand funnies around the office. The receptionist behind the desk didn't look so healthy herself which was disconcerting. My girlfriend had a broken wrist in a cast from an ER visit 4 days ago and was in extreme pain. We didn't like his roughness with her injured hand, his over anxiousness or perhaps over eagerness...I don't know...something was off. He did take an x-ray on the spot which was not used by the next surgeon as it was quite frankly considered archaic (non-digital?). Even if we went with him and did the surgery, there would be no backup over labor-day weekend as he was going out of town. Nothing was right about this visit...not recommended.

I had basal metacarpal surgery on Sept.14, 2016. I was getting injections for years and they no longer eased the pain. I was hesitant (scared) because of the long recovery but Dr. Bazzini advised me that waiting was no longer an option. I have to say the surgery and recovery went well. Throughout the whole process Dr. Bazzini assured me he was only a phone call away. It is now 10 weeks out and I must say I am happy that I had the surgery.

Over the years, I've been treated by Dr. Bazzini for wrist issues and recently for trigger finger. He has always been compassionate and extremely competent in addressing my hand problems. He treated me with injections and I've been able to avoid surgery each time. A top doctor in his field.

About Me

care philosophy

I believe the most important aspect of treatment is the patient's understanding of their condition and the overall treatment plan. I spend a lot of time educating patients about prevention as well. Patients never feel rushed when they leave the office. Surgery is always our last option.
