Dr. Robert Bayne, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Bayne for 3 years. I moved to NC in 1998. Dr. Bayne has far exceeded my expectations and exceeded by far any other PCP I have had in my life. Prior to becoming Dr. Bayne's patient, I only went to a Dr. when I was sick. The few annual physicals I had, I felt like just a body passing through their office. Rarely did the PCP even make eye contact. My 2 or 3 physicals I had, consisted of a quick breast pat down, then sent for bloodwork and a few referrals. I hated going to physicals which did I pay a heavy price in later years with a surprise diagnosis of lung cancer found during an ER visit. I was lucky, it was caught early, a lobectomy was performed & I remain cancer free. I share this to encourage others, to find a doctor who is like Dr. Bayne that genuinely cares about his patients. He goes over and beyond for his patients and not only for their healthcare needs but also their mental wellbeing during difficult times. Dr. Bayne saved my life in many ways.
