Dr. Robert Barrett, MD

Dr Barrett is amazing. Very caring, best cardio ever . He literally has saved my husband’s life more than once by changing his meds and by realizing he had AFib that was causing his issues. My husband has been his patient for a number of years.

We recently had an appt the receptionist was very personable his nurse was on top of everything from out blood pressure to refills and forms that we needed. Dr Barrett has been out Dr for at least 10 years. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. He is a fantastic Dr. you won’t be disappointed.

The DR's website lists Cigna HMO as an accepted Medicare Advantage insurer. Cigna shows Dr. Barrett as a member of their network of providers and my GP gave me a reference number to make an appointment. When I called to make an appointment I was told that" We don't accept Cigna HMO's only PPO's." Either Dr.Barrett's office or Cigna may be in violation of their contract?I had been a patient of Cardio Vascular Assoc. since 2006.

I have been a patient of dr. Barrett for some time now. He basically saved my life twice already. After living in different states and being seen by different cardiologists, he is the only one that got my medication straight and my arrhythmia under control. I can never say thank you enough.

I have nothing but the best to say about Dr Barrett. I've been a patient of his and CVA for over 15 years.

As always, my visit with Dr. Barret Jr. was very pleasant and satisfying. He is a very knowledgeable professional and very aware of his responsibilities as a cardiologist and understand very well my medical condition. After I started seeing him, I feel very satisfied as his patient. He listens to your medical problems and concerns and gives you the right medical advice. I feel very good being his patient. I think he is a very good cardiologist.

Dr, Barrett deserves five stars, but his scheduling staff deserves one star. I had an appointment scheduled for November 23 since March. I was notified this week that the office will be closed for the Friday after Thanksgiving. I mentioned the weekend to the scheduler back in March...it wasn't an issue then 'he will be seeing his patients'. So, I returned the phone call to reschedule, but got the voice mail during regular office hours, left a message, but no return call for the past 3 busi

Dr. Barrett has been my Cardiologist for about 20 years and my wife's for over 12 years. He's excellent! His office staff is completely opposite. Today we had a call for our visit, which is every 6 months, confirmed at 1:30 pm for this coming Friday. Two and a half hours later we had a 2nd call cancelling both. We asked how soon I could get the next, they said in DECEMBER! This is not the first time! his office would not make anything to schedule this sooner.THIS IS NOT RIGHT! Done w/him!Sorry

Dr. Barrett has been my cardiologist since 2012. I think he is a very good doctor and a great guy. What I like most about him is his being down to earth. He doesn't run you through needless tests if he feels they are not warranted. He also takes the time to get to know you. I especially like this in his demeanor. He is very professional but relates to you as a patient on a personal level. I hate the doctor who is very cold and clinical. Doctor Barrett is the complete antithesis of such a person.

Husband first Cardiologist when he had a heart attack back in may 2007 Dr Barrett is a down to earth doctor who explains in human terms to understand He is very though and always listens to your symptoms He didnt give up on hubby still complaining of chest pains after 3 stents few days later he had 4 bypasses I credit his life and mine(I am also a patient) to Dr Barrett Would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a qualified cardiologist and caring doctor
