Dr. Robert Amrine, MD

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor, bar none. Dr. Amrine was rude and disrespectful. I'm sure he has clinical expertise but he did not have a shred of kindness or compassion in his approach to me as a 71 year old woman. He kept generalizing that "people of your generation want a quick fix to their problems" in the most disdainful tone and he basically accused me of being a drug seeker. I could go on and on but suffice to say that I will never return to Bone and Joint.

Professional and on time. He explained things well and was supportive and efficient.

Dr. Amrine. Is wonderful. He spends time listening to you. Very thorough in diagnosis and honest. He gave me an injection in my knee. What a huge difference it has made. I can walk normal. I'm so happy. I can hike again !! Thank you Dr.

I had an ultrasound guided injection for the first time. Dr. Amrine was exceptionally adept, while I watched on the monitor. There was no doubt about his skilled experience, and I would recommend him without hesitation. I enjoyed his non-rushed demeanor, as he thoroughly explained the procedure. We need more just like him!

This review is long overdue. My July, 2018 experience with Dr. Amrine and his staff was excellent. I suffered a back injury that progressed over time and eventually required immediate surgery. Dr. Amrine and his staff went above and beyond to ensure I received appropriate care in a timely manner. This included attending to my case VERY quickly and providing sound advice during a time of difficult decision. I am extremely grateful for the timely, highly-skilled, and professional level of care I received. I would recommend his services to anyone.

My brother saw Dr. Amrine in July at the Míssoula Bone & Joint and he was very pleased with the care he received. The doctor was concerned about Joe's pain and gave him a shot. Two months later, Joe is still pain-free.

The doctor was very kind very considerate he listen to everything I said to him. He calmed my fears by doing a special procedure on my arm. So he knew exactly where to inject the medicine. He is a very gentle doctor. I would recommend him to everyone. Thank you for such a positive experience.

Dr. Amrine really listened to me, and his assessment was thorough, honest, and effectively zeroed in on the issue. A problem that might be dime-a-dozen to an MD felt like a huge, life-wrecking deal to me, but every step of the way I felt well cared for and listened to.

I have seen Dr. Amrine a couple of times for different reasons at different times. My preference is to see a non-invasive specialist for orthopedic diagnosis and possible treatment before consulting a surgeon. I found Dr. Amrine thorough in his exam, diagnosis and explanation of various treatments including the fact of possibility of needing more invasive treatment by a surgeon. I found his demeanor very pleasant and have no hesitation about seeking his consult in the future.

Dr. Amrine explained my procedure and proceeded without any discomfort. I am most grateful for the comfort/results I have received. My husband and I truly appreciated his skill and delightful persona.

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Amrine. I was referred to him by another doctor for leg pain. I've been in two car accidents, one awhile ago, and one within the year. Immediately he tells me he can't help me, had a back x-ray in front of him that he didn't bother to interrupt. He told me I was old and out of shape and haven't exercised in years. I found Dr. Amrine's to be uncaring and rude. There are many ways to say things. I would not recommend him to anyone.

My experience with Dr. Amrine and with his nurse Becca was cordial, professional, informative, respectful, and especially pleasant because my education and experience is in biology/ecology, and it is rare to be able to share the vernacular with someone who speaks the same language ~ with the added benefit of picking up new ideas from a specialist, without whom the opportunity would be lost. My only reason for assigning 4 stars rather than 5 is because it's a new doctor-patient relationship.

He listens and respects the patients concerns. He presents his treatment plans and focuses on the positive approach for patient wellness.
