Don't walk away from this guy, RUN! He loves to hear is own voice and he refuses to let his patients address their own concerns. The first few years he was tolerable at best. My last visit was when he finally shown his true colors. I told him that I 'didn't want to take statins anymore' and that was when he unleashed his nasty side. He told me that I had diabetes and that I was a candidate for a triple or quadruple bypass. I have NEVER had diabetes! He then refused to let me speak at became irate and tried to intimidate me. I called him a few choice words and he opened the door and said we were done. Funny thing though, I was done long before he had a chance to finish speaking.

Dr. Allum is the best physician I have ever had. He listenens to me every time and has never talked over me once in four years of seeing him. He is extremely thorough in explaining his diagnosis and I really appreciate that. He's the only doctor I have had that I look forward to seeing. I don't often write reviews however I felt compelled to do this after seeing some other ones for him. You will be very happy if you give him a try.

Great Doctor he really loves what he doing and it shows. He pulled me back to life and I’m not joking around. Another doctor was killing me and didn’t seem to care along with the on the floor nurse. Enough about that. Dr Allum knew what I was going threw and set me a path of recovery. Thank You so much

Spent very little time with me. Continually interrupted me while I was explaining my symptoms. When I asked him questions he quickly cut me off as if I was stupid and became angry.

I will not be seeing Dr. Allum any longer. He is more interested in socializing than talking about my health. He is not thorough. I am an RN so I know how Dr. appointments should go. I am not wasting my time and money to see him any longer. I should have left his practice a long time ago. He is inconsistent from one appointment to the next. He even contradicts what he has prescribed me. I don't know what his deal is but I am done. I do not consider him to act in a professional manner.

He does not seem to give you a chance to speak without interrupting, it seems like he isn't listening to what you have to say. Having a good rapport is important in a patient/doctor relationship and I just don't feel I have that with him. He has never steered me wrong but when I leave I feel like most of my concerns were rushed through and not completely understood by him.

Dr Allum appeared to be a good Dr at first, then it went downhill quickly. He doesn't listen to the patient's concerns or other alternatives for proper care. He thinks his way is the only way, and if you question or disagree with him, he gets mad. He walked out on me in the middle of a visit. He started by asking questions regarding another issue I wasn't even there for that day, and I didn't get to address what I was there for because he walked out, which made the visit a total waste of time.

Have been to Dr. Allum twice and been impressed and please. There was no urgency but he was very professional and I liked him. He diagnosed a vertigo type problem on the spot and gave me exercises for it that worked. I was a new patient.

I have been seeing Dr Allum for over 3 years since moving to Northern Michigan from the Grand Blanc area. I find him to be very professional and an excellent listener. He is very friendly, asks many questions and allows you the time to ask questions also. I do not see where these negative remarks are coming from. I have full trust in Dr Allum and am very pleased that I found such a competent physician in this area.

Dr. Allum was one of the most disrespectful individuals I have ever had the displeasure of working with. My father is very ill and has had many health problems, Dr. Allum was short and rude with him. My father even tried to ask if Dr. Allum had issue with him because of the disrespect he was showing, and Dr. Allum simply told him if he didn't like it to get another doctor and walked out in the middle of their very serious and time sensitive appointment. We will be reporting him.

Dr. Allum stepped out of his expertise and took me through 6 months of misery! He was wrong and caused me a lot of pain. I would be very careful in what I let him do. Stick with a cold and your safe but he wants to control area's he is no qualified for. Pick the other doctor in this practice she gets better reviews. I won't go back to this company.
