Unprofessional
Staff (Jena) at Dr Alexanders office is rude and condescending. My husband and I have been seen by Dr Alexander for 3 years. Recently, the medication that my husband takes has been on back order, & unable to receive the medication and because of that was unable to go to the follow up. once the office sent over the precert for his medication, they sent incomplete info and we had to communicate back-and-forth with the office, letting the nurse , Jena , know what she needed to provide the insurance co. We literally had to do her work. When he finally received his medication and made his appointment to see his doctor as instructed, he was told he needed to pay for no-show fees. Due to all the inconsistencies with the office and the rudeness of the staff during our telephone calls we asked Dr. A to call us but instead of him, calling us, he had his stuff tell my husband, he was no longer a good fit after three years of care. Now my husband is without medication. This is very unprofessional.

Do not recommend
Dr Alexander has very little bedside manners. He makes you feel awkward and is not good with kids. He just seems like a nervous doctor. Wilmington Health is awful. They will not physically see you if you have a fever or cough (so when you’re sick). Last time I checked, that was what doctors do…see sick patients.

Dr. Robert Alexander's office at Wilmington Health in Hampstead screwed up a prescription refill. We could not get in contact with them and finally, I posted on their web site. AT 1:37 PM, their office manager called and said they would look in to it. AT 2:30 the nurse called and literally said no prescription existed. Problem is, Alexander REFILLED THE PRESCRIPTION at 12:30 when the initial contact was made. Today, both my son and I received a certified letter that we our medical treatment had been terminated by Wilmington Health. These guys just suck.
