Very Unprofessional! Placed me on several antidepressants within the same class instead of acknowledging that the class was not effective. Psychiatrists I have seen after him have been confused and concerned about the medications he placed me on as they made no sense. As a medical professional, I placed serious trust in him and believed he had my best interests in mind when prescribing. Instead he caused serious harm and wasted years of my life bouncing me between medications. I regret every minute I saw him and every dollar her earned at the expense of my wellbeing. Years later I still deal with the damage he caused.

Dr. Parvez was my tween child's prescribing physician for 2 years. He met her every few months for a minimal dosage of an SSRI. This past summer she had a major anxiety attack, he suggested the ER, she was hospitalized for a few days and then entered an IOP. Throughout the crisis we tried to keep in contact with him but he was largely incommunicado. The psychiatrist at the IOP regularly kept him in the loop. She had a 2nd hospitalization and the program recommended by Yale assumed he'd be in the loop--he gobsmacked us from left field--absolutely no prior discussion, telling us that since he couldn't see my daughter because he wasn't the psychiatrist during her acute phase. He didn't refer us to anyone but simply abandoned us when the case became more than an easy visit every 3 to 6 months where you spend 5 to 10 minutes with the patient and prescribe an almost placebo dosage. When the going gets tough Dr. Parvez--goes away-

Dr. Parvez is a caring compassionate Doctor. He is also a Yale School of Medicine Graduate. Proof is in the pudding lets just say. My Son really felt comfortable and told me he was the nicest Doctor he had ever met. that says a lot coming from a 12 year old! I would highly recommend Dr. Parvez for a clinician.
