Dr. Rishi Patel, MD

Went to see Dr. Rishi Patel for joint pains and inflammation which I have been having for years. Dr. Patel was very thorough, well spoken, kind and compassionate. He examined me, reviewed my labs and ordered workup, but told me my diagnosis, which has led me to a much better place in my life. Dr. Patel's healing hands have helped me turn my life around, I feel so much better and am able to work and do the things I want with my life. Thank you Dr. Patel, you are absolutely amazing!

Met with Dr. Patel. He reviewed my bloodwork and squeezed my wrists and hands a couple times. Based off this, he told me there was nothing he could help me with, despite a lifetime of symptoms I presented with increasing severity. He then explained all he can do is prescribe chemo, which I don't need so he can't help. I was appalled by this statement, as he is a rheumatologist and even oncologists can prescribe more than chemo. He did not assess me for anything more than what my bloodwork already ruled out. He was so unhelpful and seemed so uneducated on the matter of connective-tissue disorders, I had to leave my appointment. Do not see this doctor, see any other doctor unless you want them to just take a copay from you and leave you with no help. I'm in process of filing a complaint with the hospital and waiting on follow up because how outraged I am by how I was treated.

Dr. Rishi Patel is my favorite doctor. He is intelligent and caring and it is always a pleasure seeing him. His personality shines through his wealth of medical knowledge during your appointment and it feels like you are talking to a genuine person and not a textbook of medical knowledge (but he is very smart!). Dr. Patel is seriously concerned about my health, healing and well-being. He gives thorough details on my health problems and gives simplified solutions. He is patient and kind. He allows me to speak my mind and tell him my concerns. Without a doubt he is a five star doctor.

Dr. Patel is truly a great guy and an amazing doctor. Highly recommend patients go see him. He listens to your concerns and wants to troubleshoot with you. Excellent bedside manner with a great sense of humor.

Dr. Rishi Patel is by far the best rheumatologist I have ever seen in my life. He is attentive with good eye contact and he is a great listener. You can tell he has a passion for people, not just his specialty. Often, when seeing a doctor, they will be looking down at their computer, you'll be rushed in and out of the appointment and forget to ask questions. That is not who Dr. Patel is at all! He sits with you to accurately describe what is exactly going on with your health on all levels. He really cares and has a passion that few doctors exhibit. His bedside manner is fantastic. I finally found the perfect doctor for me!

Dr. Patel was the first doctor in a long time who sat back and listened to what I had to say. It is absolutely refreshing to have a doctor listen. He also ensured I was done talking before responding or asking follow-up questions. I wanted to cry because of the joy I was experiencing to finally being heard! Dr. Patel made me feel safe and welcome and he truly cares about figuring out what is happening to me.
