Dr. Rimal Bera, MD

Dr Bera is indifferent, dismissive and lacks compassion. He does not put patient needs first. My brother was taken to the UCI ER due to complications from paranoid schizophrenia. My family reached out to him, asking him to help us manage his care, but he did not help us, or guide us towards pursuing the right avenues of care for my brother. He could not be bothered to give us the time of day, or even be bothered to ask for an update on my brother's health.

I have bipolar disorder type 1 and also BPD. I have seen that on this site there are many negative reviews for this doctor. I take exception to that. Even though he is available at Garden Grove one day a week, he does faithfully show up. Also Dr. Bera does not get swayed by patients' wanting to increase or change their medications before it has had a chance to start working. He is quick to see patients because he is on a tight schedule (It is not because he does not care). I appreciate the fact that I am his patient, and I have stuck with him through thick and thin. So I do commend Dr. Bera for his practice here at the Central City facility in Garden Grove. He is experienced and he really wants to help his patients.

Arrogant, Entitled Shell of a Man. Don’t waste your time and $$$$ with this Poser.

This man is completely indifferent, could care less about your well being, barely makes eye contact or asks questions about how you’re feeling. You’ll get 15 minutes MAX to watch him type -I’m assuming to send refills to the pharmacy. One appointment he argued with me-told me there weren’t any refills on a med when in fact there WAS and on another visit he DOUBLED the dose of another! I do NOT recommend this man. How do you trust a doctor who can’t even get your meds correct?!?! Go elsewhere!

Dr. R. Bera is a close minded cruel provider who fails to listen to patients rather than truly lead lives of wellness. His piers constantly remind you he is the "Director" as a means to silence you instead of helping you. I kindly remind the staff: Adolf Hitler was in charge too, it does not mean one should accept inhumane decisions as acceptable ways of medical practice.
