he's not a bad dr, but he acts like a loan shark. I was just there a month ago and I have been expecting a bill or something in the mail since i knew my insuurncce wasnt going to cover it all. but they sent a debt collector after me and i tried to contact his office to get an explanation or at least my receipt for what I owed, he refused and said it had already been turned over to collections and "wasn't his problem". Will never use again and recommend no one else does.

Dr Peck is a good physician, but a bad businessman. Rather than making any attempt to call, send a bill, provide an invoice for services rendered, or an explanation of billing owed; if you do not agree to pay without seeing any of the aforementioned within 7 days (which seems unreasonable for an emergency room visit), he will send your bill immediately to a collection agency with 1 star on google reviews and questionable business practices (CDI Collectech). If you can pay, what amounts to approximately $1200 per stitch, then he is a great doctor. If you would like to see you bill and/ or itemized invoice first, then he is definitely NOT the doctor for you. Having spoken with Covenant Medical Group and West Texas ER (Dr Peck's previous offices of practice), this is apparently not the first time Dr. Peck has billed erroneously and has chosen to send a bill directly to a collection agency. He will be facing a medical ethics review board and possible legal charges.
