Smartest psychiatrist in the world
Dr. Richard Winters is a fantastic doctor. I’ve been seeing him for over 10 years and he has been nothing but kind courteous and respectful of me and understands what conditions are and how it makes a person feel. I was just diagnosed with PTSD. Dr Winters did not suggest this at first, but he analyzed me and he knew something was wrong And so did my primary but he is the best in the world. Any negative reviews that’s your opinion granted respect the doctor that is trying to help you you probably didn’t get your way and that’s why you sent the negative review is that they’re only reason this doctor has only the patient’s well-being at heart and he responds immediately When he’s paged. I couldn’t have found a better doctor for my mental health and Dr. Richard Winters, MD.

Dr. Winters is a very kind, understanding, likable, and extremely competent psychiatrist. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough, and I have already recommended him to someone else, and that person is extremely pleased with him as well.

The doctor offers very little feedback, just sits there listening with a judgmental and opinionated look as if his patient were a bizarre creature, and is very quick to just conclude with prescribing medication and if you agree a huge smile appears on his face as if he just won the lottery. If you actually want quality mental healthcare instead of the classic quack of a “doctor” who works as a salesman for big pharmaceutical companies who fill his pockets, please do not make appointments with this doctor and look elsewhere.

Dr Winters experience and another doctor's recommendation lead me to make an appointment with him. That was seven years ago. My life is much better since that appointment. His knowledge of medications and conservative approach to prescripting them have keep me coming back.

The doctor has experience, but barely speaks and is not helpful at all. He would frequently answer his cell phone in the middle of a session or get up and meet a patient in the foyer to give them a prescription or picking up medicine. He is quick to get his copay and it seems to be his only concern. Not going back to this doctor.
