Dr. Richard Vest, MD

After my Cardiologist had prescribed many Afib meds that were ineffective, he referred me to Dr Vest for a Cardiac Ablation. In addition, a glowing recommendation came from a “medical professional friend”whose Father was treated successfully by Dr. Vest. My friend said, “Dr Vest was the absolute best in his field, and she wouldn’t trust anyone else with her Father’s Ablation.” Her father has been Afib free for several years. Dr. Vest is extremely competent, highly-skilled, empathic and compassionate. It was so refreshing to have a Dr. that actually listened to my concerns, and took his time to answer all my questions. Dr Vest explained the procedure in detail including what to expect post-op. His staff was also excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of an Electrocardiologist. My Ablation was performed on May 5, 2021, and time has proven it to be very successful. “Dr Richard Vest is the ABSOLUTE VERY Best.”

After receiving cardiac loop; was discharged without instructions or seeing the doctor! 3 weeks later called his office, left message for a callback to see what I should do... see him or wait and see my regular cardiologist. And also questioned who is monitoring this loop. ???

I had a catheter heart ablation performed by Dr. Vest. I'm two weeks out, and I feel like I've got a new lease on life with no Afib. Dr. Vest was awesome. He was the second EP that I've seen since the onset of my Afib. The previous Dr. pushed meds that left me feeling very blah, and would not entertain performing an ablation. Dr. Vest was very confident and encouraging regarding this procedure. I could tell the moment I arrived at the hospital that Dr. Vest did things to a higher standard. The nurses who prepped me were very particular in everything they did telling me, "You are Dr. Vest's patient, everything must be perfect." The attention he gave to me during office visits and to my wife post procedure was great. He explained everything in non doctor talk and ensured that any question or concern we had was answered. I've never felt rushed when seeing Dr. Vest. I've had numerous heart issues in my life, and I'm honored to have Dr. Vest be a part of the team that cares for me.

Dr Vest did a catheter ablation on my heart and I found him to be competent, capable, caring and compassionate. He takes his time from the first visit, and explains everything in detail. His staff was also top notch and friendly. I highly recommend him. In fact so much that if a family member needs the service of an electro cardiologist I will encourage them to see Dr Richard Vest.

Dr Vest is exceptionally good. He did a heart ablation on my husband. He did so well that four days later, with Dr Vest's approval, we took a 5-hour road trip to attend a family reunion. Dr Vest fully prepared us for the procedure, gave us a clear understanding afterward, & was just wonderful. We both agree that he's professional, punctual, informative & likeable.
