Condescending
I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Van Leeuwen. Throughout the visit, he was condescending and dismissive, making me feel like my concerns about my daughter’s health weren’t valid. Despite my efforts to explain the situation, Dr. Van Leeuwen acted as though I couldn’t possibly know what was best for her.As a parent, it’s frustrating to be treated this way when all I want is the best care for my child. I left the appointment feeling unheard and disrespected. I would not recommend this doctor to others.

Has taken wonderful care of my prone-to-ear-infection daughter since she was just two. We've had two stellar surgical procedures (including personal calls from him in the evening to see how we're doing), and plenty of great office visits. Dr. vanLeeuwen had to suction my daughter's ear out once because it was so full of fluid from infection and she STILL gets excited to go and see him. Explains things wonderfully, super patient and gentle, highly recommend.

This man saved my life last year. I was having problems with my lymph glands swelling. After a couple visits he decided to take one out and sent it off for biopsy. Turns out I had cancer. If he hadn't taken the initiative, we would have never known what the problem was until too late. I highly recommend him .

I went to Dr. VanLeeuwen with very rare disorder in my throat that had been missed by five previous ENT's over a four year period. Probably not even something he should have been noticing because it was so abnormal, but it literally took him about five minutes to pinpoint the problem with a scope. He has a fabulous bedside manner and makes you feel like he is listening to everything you say. He seems very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend him to anybody.
