We knew the situation was serious for [...] but after meeting with the nurse and surgeon, hearing them out and they hearing our questions it developed a peace and a calm for us. The surgeon asked us to believe in him, that's something we've never been asked and we chose to do it.

If you have Dr Thompson for your surgeon, you can rest assured you are in the best possible hands. When I was having very bad lung problems for having a collapsed lung for over a year, Dr Thompson performed the needed surgery on my lungs, to remove the scar tissues, and insert tubes to drain my lungs. During my stay in the hospital while my lungs were draining, he insured I was monitored closely, and took additional measures to insure they were being drained properly. After about a month, I was able to get the tubes removed, and continue on my recovery. It took some time for me to my lungs to continue their healing process, but within a couple of years, my lung was working as well as the other, and I could again take full breaths, and felt like my body is getting the oxygen that it needs. I learned that this was a very complex surgical procedure, but Dr Thompson executed it perfectly, and my restored lung, and health, are a testament to his expertise.

Awesome awesome awesome
Dr. Thompson did a 4 way bypass on my husband and we are very grateful for his professionalism, exceptional bedside manner and superb talent! We can not say enough great things about him. His PA Andre is as exceptional as Dr. Thompson. We went to the the Heart Institute where Dr. Thompson is heading the Cardiac aspect and I have to say the nurses at the Heart Institute are bar none! Very very professional and knowledgeable and made our stay and recovery a very pleasant experience!
