His skills he had already done both total hip plus revisions n then knee then the shoulder so I would NEVER choose anyone else but my lat dislocation I was taken to lawnwood hospital as mandatory to go to nearest hospital n unfortunately I saw Barry Davis I will not even call hip dr He left me with a split in my bursa causing muscle to poke through causing further dislocations Never again Barry Davis

I brought my elderly mother in for hip pain. THE ONLY solution for this doctor was hip replacement. Without hearing anything about her lifestyle, her health in terms of whether she can even have surgery. Did NOT want to talk about alternative therapies or treatments. If you want to be cut up without any other options, then he's your man! Absolutely no personality. I'm a professional patient as I'm chronically ill. NEVER go with a doctor that says his way is the ONLY way and doesn't want to discuss your concerns or options. RUN!

After being active my entire life, I was suddenly in such pain that I could barely walk. Since then I’ve had knee injections & many many 2nd 3rd 4th opinions. Because it’s bone on bone, TKR surgery was even scheduled. However when a reliable source recommended Dr.Steinfeld, I postponed surgery & Im so glad that I did. Dr Richard Steinfeld is the most generous physician that Ive ever met. He took the time to thoroughly explain all of my X-rays & MRIs. He patiently listened to my concerns & answered questions that I hadn’t even though to ask. He discussed (with me - not to me) any & all available options. Although I want to hold off surgery or pain medication for as long as possible, he let me know he would be there for me when (or if) the pain became unbearably excruciating. he genuinely cares and is also highly regarded among his peers

By far the most irresponsible clinical staff I have ever experienced. I was told incorrect estimates out of pocket, my positive MRI for meniscus tear was not addressed for months after an incorrect diagnosis was told to me by Dr. Steinfeld as the cause of my pain. He did not even stick around to discuss my surgery post op, but left it to a nurse to provide minimal information. No follow up scheduled or suggested PT. I was told my out of pocket expenses on the surgeons part would be $800-900 and just received a bill for $3500. As a healthcare provider I would not work for a place like this or allow myself ever again to be treated by a group like this. I am actually shocked at the way this clinic functions.

I had a hip replacement last week. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Steinfeld and his team. His nursing staff (esp Nurse Nikki) is the best. Even the PT service he recommended was awesome. But Dr. Steinfeld was certainly the right doctor for me. Pre surgery he (and his staff) were very helpful and supportive. Although I had a short pre-op time, I was well prepared. The surgery went great, thanks to Dr. Steinfeld, and recovery has exceeded all my expectations. I've seen comments about his bedside manner - I was fine with it - he is informative and to the point and in my opinion, a great surgeon. That's what's important to me. I definitely recommend Dr. Steinfeld if you have hip problems. I feel very blessed to have found him.

Really great Surgeon, and he surrounds himself with wonderful people. Very patient, confident, and knowledgrable. I highly recommend him - I had a total hip replacement.

Dr. Steinfeld replaced both of my knees a few years ago and I haven't had any problems since. He's a great doctor.

Dr Steinfeld and his staff went out of their way to quickly schedule surgery in what amounted to an emergency situation for me. His follow-up care and rehab services resulted in a best case outcome after my hip surgery.
