Dr. Paxton started out our visit by invalidating me about a diagnosis that I had received years prior. I thought this was very unprofessional based off the fact that i was only relaying my medical history to aid in the visit we were being seen for, which was for my child.I felt he did not listen to my concerns as a mother. In fact, his “advice” was-essentially-“be a better parent” and hold my child back a year in school. I have since gone forward with an IEP for my child through the school district, and while they cannot officially “diagnose”, I have sound evidence that my child has a strong possibility of a mental learning disability and has qualified for extra help through the IEP program. I find Dr. Paxtons lack of sympathy and out-dated information on people (especially girls) with ADD, ADHD to be concerning since he, quote-on-quote “specializes in children with ADD,ADHD.” At the very least, Dr. Paxton should learn some sympathy and update his knowledge on the subject.

Dr. Paxton is an informative, kind and patient pediatrician. My kids absolutely love him and get so excited to go in and see him and his assistants....really, I think that says a world about Dr. Paxton! What kids aging 15 years to 6 months do that? He has such a kind bedside manner and peaceful happy demeanor. We absolutely think the world of him!

I have had 2 preemies, and I have loved having Dr. Paxton as our pediatrician. He is great at listening to my concerns while still telling me what I need to hear. My kids both enjoy going to see him. He is very likeable and knowledgeable. Even though we have moved farther away, we still decided to keep him as our pediatrician.

Dr. Paxton has been our pediatrician through four of our children, including one with special needs. He goes above and beyond as a physician. He listens and never rushes you out the door. He is available whenever questions arise and has gone out of his way multiple times to make sure we had the care we needed. He was always up-to-date with our son's records and treats the children like they're the most important people in the world, which they love, and helps them feel at ease. He's amazing

Dr Paxton and his staff are beyond exceptional! He is great with my kids, patient and is great at listening to my concerns. He knows that me as a mom, knows my child the best. He takes that into consideration when treating. His nurses are so nice and inviting! They make you feel like family! I've never had a problem getting last minute appointments! I highly recommend him!
