Dr. Richard Mooney, MD

After being a patient for many years, sadly I am changing doctors. On last visit Dr. Mooney seemed annoyed when I requested he at least look at the images ordered by my GP instead of having me undergo/pay for the same test again. Dr. told staff to fax the hospital a request for the imaging records. Rude staff instead handed me the form & told me to go to hospital & request the records be sent to them. I took extra 30 minutes off work for this. Hospital office was surprised Dr. didn't simply fax request. I watched hospital staff fax the records to Mooney's office. It is now over 2 months later, & I still have not been contacted to schedule procedure discussed or have additional tests. I am now paying another doctor to go over my tests, and may possibly have to pay for more tests due to delay. Visit to Mooney was a waste of time & I wish I could get a refund. It is negligent for a doctor to leave a patient hanging about their status when abnormalities show up on a test.
