Dr. Richard Moody, MD

Dr. Moody has been our PCP for over 20 years. Back in 2011 he actually saved my life. He is so knowledgeable and cares about your concerns. I highly recommend him for family medicine.

My husband and I began seeing Dr.Moody shortly after our beloved Dr. Brooksbank passed. He is a wonderful Dr. Always takes time with you. Listens, asks questions. Very professional yet also has a welcoming personality. We have come to fully trust his care. We could not be more pleased. Dr. B had very big shoes to fill, and while no one could replace him, Dr. Moody thankfully has become our trusted PCP. Could not recommend him more highly.

I have been under Dr. Moody’s care for many years and have found him to be compassionate, personable, knowledgeable and an excellent MD professional. He makes referrals to specialists when there is any issue he feels needs detailed study and treatment. His medical and front desk staff has always been polite and professional . With the Covid pandemic, he arranged for blood work to be done in the parking lot, and then in the waiting room. There was some longer waiting during this time, but that was due to an abundance of caution to keep his patients safe and covid free. He has done telehealth visits with me, as well. I am a registered nurse and a case manager, so I am rather picky when it comes to the doctors I choose to treat me. I highly recommend Dr. Moody!

He is thorough and he listens. He holds my feet to the fire if I am not doing what I need to. Him and his office have gone out of their way to communicate with my other doctors or pharmacists.

My doctor of 10 years moved to NC. He was always attentive to me when I had something to say, and I never felt rushed in his office. Looking for a new PCP, I saw Dr. Moody and his staff three times. I found both him and his PA to be condescending, rude and not interested in my opinion or views about my own health. The Admin staff however, was polite and pleasant. I have since found a new PCP with the Parkridge system, and I am very pleased.

He has been my physician for nearly fifteen years. He has become like a friend to me during this time...always takes the time to listen carefully to what I say, and responds with helpful information. I dont ever want to change my Dr. I find Dr.Moody to be a special person and physician.
