Great experience
I arrived to the office and was greeted by very polite staff. When taken back for vitals, the staff were friendly, funny, and very engaged with myself and the other patient in the intake area. I was taken to a room where Dr. Monk met with me after a short wait. He was polite, very friendly, and informative. He explained to me what the process would be going forward and made sure that I had the opportunity to ask any questions. I will definitely be recommending him to family and friends needing care in this area.

Been a patient only of Dr. Monk's for years. Excellent bedside/chairside manner, knows his stuff, and explains things clearly. He's also of at least average height so whomever posted the negative falsely alleging must have him confused with someone else.

Arrogant
He is very arrogant and rude. After my last visit I contacted the practice & asked to see a different doctor in the future and they told me that was NOT possible, so now I’m looking for another doctor.

I was hospitalized for a week and out of work for 3 months due to not being able to breathe. Dr. Monk prescribed me an antibiotic that I had an allergic reaction to. I called his office to see what to do. They told me to take another one the next morning to see if that is what was causing my issues, which of course I did not. I ended up at Urgent care that night who advised me to go to the ER. Evidently, I am allergic sulfa-antibiotics. There are quite a few other reasons why I would not recommend Dr. Monk. The next biggest reason would be that in the 3 months he saw me and could not figure out what was wrong with me he discharged me. He discharged me on a Wednesday and THEN he scheduled my 1st breathing test that Friday. So, for 3 months of not being able to breath and having to be out of work he never did a lung function test until 2 days AFTER he discharged me. After that I found another pulmonologist and got better. So no, I would NOT recommend Dr. Monk to anyone.
