2 years ago Dr Mather examined me as well as sent me for MRIs to perform labral repair on my hip. I was told that after surgery my damage was worse than he expected and could not repair my labral. Over the last 3 months my hip has worsened. I have sought 2 second opinions with other Drs regarding my hip. After looking at my MRIs prior to my surgery (the same MRI that Dr Mather used) both surgeons said they never would have scoped my hip. Now I am bone on bone and am facing hip replacement.

Had first surgery in October 2017 and there were issues with his team not getting referrals to physical therapy done on time and ended up needing second surgery because they said a capsule was open after wards when I was still experiencing pain. Second surgery was a week ago and now I’m even worse off than before both surgeries in extreme pain and cannot get out of bed. They want to give me more meds but they did something wrong this isn’t right. ...

Dr. Mather and his team made the process from diagnosis to surgery clear & easy. I appreciated Dr. Mather not being pushy about going into surgery, he put the decision into my hands. Once I knew it was time, everything was very simple from scheduling to day of surgery care. The office, PT center and ambulatory surgery center were all clean, convenient and filled with friendly staff members!

Dr Mather is extremely knowledgeable and very kind. He knew exactly what was going on with my daughters' hips just by the xrays. He answered all of my questions and concerns without trying to rush me. I love the health loop ap. Reminders and question before and after procedures. If you answer a question that has a concern but not an emergency, someone on his staff WILL call you that day! His staff is amazing and kind as well. So glad I was referred to him.

Dr. Mather is a wonderful doctor he is very attentive and he really paid a lot of attention to detail. His bedside manner is top-notch. I have never experienced a doctor that can make you feel so comfortable knowing that you have to get a procedure done then I have experience with him. He even came to check on me the next morning he was very nice to my family and answered all of their questions. He even let me video chat when I initially came to meet with him. you can't go wrong with him.

Dr. Mather & his team, especially Alan Moses & Dr. Kollmorgan, have taken excellent care of me. I was exceptionally well prepared for my hip arthroscopy & knew what would be done & what to expect. The procedure was clearly very skillfully performed as my recovery is ahead is schedule & pain has been manageable. I would recommend him & his team without reserve!

Dr. Mather is the most empathic and caring surgeon I have ever worked with. I had been seen by his PA, Allen Moses, who is also tremendous, and when it was clear that surgery was unavoidable, was sent to Dr. Mather. I was disheartened by how far out he was booked, but the wait was very worth it. When I did see him, his concern for my ailment as well as my overall health was very evident. I was fortunate to be worked into an early surgical date and am thrilled with the care and result received!

Dr. Mather and his team work extremely well together and take the extra steps necessary to ensure their patients are well cared. The only hiccup in care was not passing on information on changes in recovery instructuons until two weeks after the procedure.

Dr. Mather is very professional and personable. He takes the time to listen and makes sure all your needs, concerns, and problems are addressed. I had both of my hips operated on within 6 months of each other. Dr. Mather did an exceptional job. Both of my surgeries were quick and the medical staff was great. I did not have any complications and my recovery went quicker than expected. I would tell anyone who has to have hip surgery to go to Dr. Mather.
