The family dr that our entire family had for 15 yrs passed away. Dr Marietta took over my previous Dr's patients. I went to him once. I thought he was great then. But I started work in Galveston & saw a Dr there on my lunch break or after work. A couple years later I had to stop working bc of an inherited disease that caused me severe pain & fatigue. I was put on medications for the pain & fatigue. I went to see Dr Marietta again & asked him to take over my care. He told me that I was only on those meds bc I "liked the high." He refused to take over my care. He didn't remember me & said that he'd never seen me before. I left his office in tears. I did find a Dr that took over my care & who was familiar with my illness. He understood why I was taking the meds. But I'll never forget the look of disgust on Dr Marietta's face when he told me that I only liked the high from my meds.

Dr. Marietta is very friendly and professional. I'm comfortable with him to discuses an concern I may have. He always listens and never dismiss anything I say. His office staff is always friendly and helpful. I never feel like a burden when I call.
