Dr. Marciniak is extremely knowledgeable about psychiatric medications. He is the best I have found in Colorado Springs after relocating from Atlanta. He is patient, listens well and easy to talk to. I highly recommend him.

At my initial visit, my anxiety was high. Making it next to impossible to see how aloof and disinterested Dr Marciniak was and is. I had a follow up visit following a particularly bad episode of multiple traumatic flashbacks. Not only did Dr Marciniak make me feel as though I was inconveniencing him by meeting 2 months ahead of our 1 year follow-up date. But he suggested that my choice to seek out EMDR/Trauma therapy for decades of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse was unnecessary. His words, "if it isn't broken, don't try to fix it." Thanks. It's not as though I wasn't trying to fix several things that I knew were broken, trying to take responsibility and control over several life-altering symptoms of severe PTSD. While I appreciate his choice to share this personal opinion with me, more credence would've been given had it been backed up with medical evidence or even anecdotal justification. The receptionist is very polite and considerate. He could learn from her.

Initially he seemed competent, but during sessions he would accept personal phone calls, berate/yell/belittle me and any effort I had made of getting well. Do not know why he is in this business as he is not helpful

I have been going to Dr. Marciniak for about a year. He is a great doctor who is very knowledgeable about OCD and anxiety. He helped me find an alternative OCD medication that did not cause weight gain and helped me to successfully transition from my old medication to the new one. Wait times are very short and it is easy to get an appointment. He is very nice and professional. He is a doctor not a therapist so don’t expect someone touchy feely.

Dr. Marciniak is a competent professional. His staff goes from warm to ice cold in a NY minute, even hostile. He listens, though doesn't always hear. When raising/lowering medication levels based on past and current situation, anxieties, etc. I feel he does his job. However, I'm not sure he's focused on me vs. his predetermined approach to dealing with patients like me. Seems a touch distant, but that may be my desire for closer sense of comfort with his concern with me.

Run. And run far away. I saw Dr. Marciniak for 4 years to treat my bipolar disorder. He is a cold person and his office is one big "cattle call" of patients. He is bored, uninterested and I never felt listened to or believed. He loves to belittle patients and the straw that broke the camel's back was when he answered a personal call during my appointment. I knew it was because he started mentioning scuba gear! He is an awful psychiatrist and I'm so glad I found someone else.

I will not return to this Dr. He refused to help me. I needed a script to be rewritten. He refused. Therefore I won't be getting enough medicine. How does that make sense Dr. Marciniak? My levels will continue to stay low until I get a new script.

I had a good experience being his patient for several years. However, his office staff were consistently unpleasant and uncooperative with reasonable requests. He agreed to treat my spouse and myself by phone while we were traveling. When I called anout a prescription, his receptionist told me he NEVER provides telephone care, no exceptions. I cancelled our "telephone visits" and now have no psychiatrist. Talk about violating trust and dumping patients! Still don't know if he lied or forgot.

I saw Dr. Marciniak for years, and it's true...this is his JOB, not his hearts passion. He is not a personable doctor, and very into himself, but he's smart and knows drugs - which is what I want in a doctor. He's not there to be my friend. He's there to give me treatment. Now his staff - boo. The entire office leaves much to be desired. However, if you want a knowledgeable provider and don't need the warmth, he's really good. Don't miss an appt because they will charge you REGARDLESS.

The office staff and psych are the worst I've ever encountered who only care about making $ and could care less about their patients. No calls to advise patients even if they're experiencing extremely negative reactions to meds. If anyone was suicidal it would be on this psychiatrist's hands for not getting back to patients in a timely manner until the next appt weeks later. And others wonder why most of us don't get treated for mental illness, cause of people like this who are in the field.
