Dr. Richard Long, DO

I haven’t been to a Dr in a while. Dr Long was my PCP long ago. He is now on my Humana plan again as my PCP very happy about that. I will be seeing him asap for my yearly checkup and bloodwork.

Dr. Long is very down to earth and takes time to explain. He is a very caring doctor.

Dr Long has been my primary care physician for about 7 years now. He has always listened and provided the right approach.

Contacted office 06/21/2021 where my primary caregiver practiced. There are app 6 physicians practicing out of this office. Was told my primary caregiver and other 4 physicians were not seeing patients in person. Only 1 physician would actually conduct an office visit, this was Dr. Richard Long. As my health issues, which had resulted in a week long hospital stay a few years prior, required a brief physical evaluation I scheduled a visit that day with Dr. Long. He was prompt, cordial, professional, conducted a brief interview and performed the needed evaluation. He provided a treatment plan that resulted in my overcoming the immediate health issues. I was most appreciative that Dr. Long was still conducting office visits with patients when the other physicians would not.

I have been a patient of Dr. Long for quite a few years. He does not rush to get you in and out. He actually listens to your concerns and takes his time discussing it with you. You leave his office feeling like a true patient and not shoved out the door as just a number.

I found Dr. Long punctual and to the point. I don't need to be sweet talked. "Just the facts, Ma'am!" He tells it how he sees it and gives you his professional opinion based on his knowledge and research. This is what I want from a physician.

Dr. Long has been our family doctor for many years. He is always patient, kind, and takes time with us to discuss our medical issues and medication options. He is very knowledgeable and listens to our concerns. We have never had a bad experience, and regularly recommend him to friends and coworkers.

He is ready to get your money, thats about it.

Would give negative stars if possible. Dr. Long and his staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful. Booked an appointment and left without anything since he said "I don't know what else to do". Him and his staff always seem so hateful and even shame you. Will never visit him ever again and looking forward to finding a new doctor.

Dr Long is my GP. He has treated me for several minor issues. He seems genuinely interested in my good health. I could not ask for more. It is my fondest wish he lives longer than me because I’m sure I could not be happier with another General Physician.

He was the rudest most disrespectful person I have ever been to. Not only that, but he left me feeling violated. He actually reprimanded me for not reading my own lab report and figuring out on my own that I should have done follow up blood work last year! I have never had a doctor speak to me or act the way he did. I would NEVER recommend going to him.

Dr. Long is great! Went above and beyond.

I really like Dr Long. Snippy receptionist when trying to make an appointment with bloodwork. Made everything very difficult. Didn't feel like dealing w the attitude when trying to discuss health issues. Moving along

Best doctor I’ve ever seen. Patient with my many questions, listened to my concerns and was willing to allow me to try alternative natural options before starting expensive medication. Thorough. Very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Dr. Long see you as a person, not just the next in line. I received great service. He diagnosed my problem correctly. After two other doctors missed it. He takes his time and focuses on you. This was the best doctor experience I have had in years. I highly recommend Dr. Long.

I find that Dr. Long cares about his patient as people. He discusses health issues as well as healthy lifestyles. He takes his time with you during an exam asking about different aspects of your health. He does not rush you out of the examination room.

It was awesome. Diagnosed with Ramsey Hunt Syndrome-rare complication of shingles in ear. He treated me promptly and correctly. I recovered completely. Dr Long treats the whole person and truly cares about his patient. As a nurse for 31 years, I have met many physicians; Dr Long is one of the special ones. I strongly recommend him

Excellent experience. Friendly office staff. Dr Long takes time to fully address needs.

In my experience he discounts patient's input and concerns. Comes across as a take it or leave it kind of doctor, not one who listens to nor is willing to discuss viable options. Very blunt to the point of being rude.
