Dr. Richard Layman, MD

What a wonderful experience having Dr Layman take care of my medical needs. I had a total hip replacement at North Central Surgery on 7/29. Dr Layman called the night before and spent quit a bit of time going over everything with me and answering any and all questions I had. The morning of surgery he came in explained everything again and eased any anxiety that I was having. My surgery required an epidural and the explanation and process of this was smooth and comforting. Needless to say, It's a week later and and as I look back on my patient care not only did the hospital take extremely good care of me, but Dr Layman's bed side manner and calming tone made my experience excellent. Surgery isn't always a term that you would consider as an excellent experience, but Dr Layman did just that. Thank you guys!

I recently had knee replacement. Dr Layman was my assigned anesthesiologist. I didn’t know him before surgery but he called me the night before and explained everything. He was calm, kind and very professional. I felt very comfortable under his care.

I was truly impressed by Dr. Layman's kind and gentle nature. He was truly wonderful and so treated me well. I would recommend him highly to anyone needing his services.

Rude,disreguarded my sons concerns, stopped my sons attempt to talk with him,"Saying ( with a flat hand raised) "Just let me finish my Speil! "My son and i were taken aback and hurt. But It was too late to try and change doctors or he would have been dismissed immediately.Arrogant,egocentric,jerk. I am a Retired RN critical care charge nurse for 30 years.Sorry that other unsuspecting people have to see people like this.Speil is what the barker at the carnival does or the snake Oil salesman.

He was great. He put me at ease about my surgery. I woke up without any pain and would highly recommend him. Great bedside manner.
