I have never been treated like this before
I have been suffering from excruciating unexplained pain in my kidney for almost five years. I was going to see Dr. Koefoot to discuss some new information I found that could possibly help us figure it out. His nurse met me in the waiting room to tell me the doctor was refusing to see me. He talked to another doctor, one who hadn't been on my case in three years and wasn't even the referring doctor, so he had no reason to consult him at all. And becouse of this brief conversation about my personal medical information that I wasn't included in, Dr. Koefoot decided it was my back and not my kidney. He didn't even talk to me! My back has already been ruled out by several other specialists. We know the pain is coming from my kidney but he wouldn't even take the time to hear from me about what was going on in my own body.

I was under Dr. Koefoots care for over a year when his practice was in Tennessee. He treated me for long term prostate issues. He helped me through a tough time. That was 14 years ago. A recent physical has revealed the possibility of prostate cancer. I wish Dr. Koefoot still had a office in the Knoxville area. Starting this process all over again. Wish I had Doc. Koefoot alone for the ride. Mark in Knoxville

i had surgery at st. marys hospital in knoxville under this doctors care. he put in an artificial sphincter to my bladder. that surgery was a total nightmare. my bladder blocked on a saturday and i layed til monday before it was emptied and was told they needed a urine specimen before i could be treated. i lost a kidney due to their foolishness that's been probably 30 years ago and i still have problems today. right now im fighting a fistula that is probably the result of this doctor.
