Terrible doctor
I went to see him on a Thursday, with symptoms of pain on right side of chest, and told him it was my digestive tract, he was condescending to me and asked if the pain went down left arm. Stated it is your heart, I'll refer you to a Cardiologist. I said, it is not left side, but right side... He responded to me 'which one of us has the degree here' it is your heart. 2 days later I ended up in ER, I had 4 different infections, a gall stone blockage, and ended up having 2 surgeries, one to remove blockage and install stent, 2nd to remove gall bladder. Heart EKG was fine.

Where Did Dr. Kelly Go?
Dr. Kelly's always been a very caring Endocrinologist. He's been my PCP for 20+ years and I just found out he's left IMS. I'm hoping he'll pop up somewhere, my diabetes has been in control thanks to him!

Time to retire
Dr. Kelly has not called in my prescription and its been 4 days. He was with me about 2 minutes and just left the room. I thought he went to get something but then the nurse came in and said I could go, what is going on? Kelly will not return my calls for the medicine.

I've had blood work done with glucose 140 and A1c 6.5 fasting. I was never told I had diabetes. I see a different doctor now and after my blood work said I'm diffentely diabetic. He was amazed Dr. Kelly never told me this. I recommend patients to do your own homework.

No sympathy no solutions
My 29 year old son has autism. He cannot do needles of any kind. He has violent panic attacks when we have attempted. That being said, he has not had blood work since he was a teenager (I was able to insist him being restrained during the draw). I have finally found a solution. His oral surgeon is doing my son’s wisdom teeth with gas (then an IV once he is out). The oral surgeon agreed to do the blood draw while my son was under sedation if dr Kelly would supply the vials needed. Dr Kelly said”no”. No suggestions other than having the draw done traditionally in the lab. I told dr Kelly that it was not an option and if we could not get bloodwork done, my son could possibly die of something curable just because dr Kelly would not allow another dr to do the blood draw. I was crying at this time and dr Kelly just laughed saying “….is not going to die” How can we know anything without bloodwork! I pray we can find another more sympathetic doctor soon. My son stormed out of the exam room

This man's office left me in a lurch for four weeks and more than thirty calls to his office. I say to hell with him if neither he nor his staff can follow up. They're useless.

Very Arrogant and does not listen to you. He asks why you are here today, and you tell him you think you are having a gall bladder attack, and he replies no you are not...It is your heart. He argues with you...I know it is the digestive system, he replies again NO it is your heart, I will give you a referral for a Cardiologist! And sends you on your way, he did not have any tests ordered, did not even order lab tests. 2 Days later you are in the ER, First thing they do is an EKG say, your heart is fine. Do blood work. They order a Cat Scan of abdominal area. They find an obstruction in a gland caused by a gall stone. It has caused poisons to back up into your system. You have 4 different infections due to all the poisons backing up into your systems. 5 days in hospital and two surgeries later, you are released. 2 Days later Kelly's office calls you with your Cardiologist Referral.

Cares more about scheduling you for your next appointment than hearing about your issue. I saw him twice and he ordered multiple labs (2 of them were the wrong labs) and still wouldn't take the time to answer my questions. Waiting over an hour past my appointment time in one instance. Changing to a different primary.

Dr. Kelly was very responsive to my needs overall. I felt he was genuinely concerned and interested in helping me with my overall health. I was impressed with his responsiveness when I was away on travel and got sick -- he helped me solve the issue quickly. I have confidence in his skill as a medical doctor and appreciate having him as my Trusted Health Professional. I'd recommend Dr. Kelly without hesitation.

Dr. Kelly wrote a script for me on 11-21-18. Found the script in a different dose, far cheaper at a different pharmacy. Called Sandra on 2-25-19; asked her to get approval and route the script to the different pharmacy. No action; called on 3-1-19 to ask why. Sandra had not reported my request. Called AGAIN 3-8-19; incorrect dose routed to pharmacy-spoke to office manager, in person, explaining issue. As of 3-15-19: no action, no communication---nothing. Unbelievable incompetence. I'm done...

I have been in the healthcare profession for over 35 yrs. and know an excellent Doctor when I meet one! When I began to have concerning idiopathic symptoms if a complicated nature it was Dr. Kelly who navigated my exploration of specialist after specialist until I was ultimately diagnosed. I am so grateful for his knowledge, compassion and guidance. He really listens and is respectful of the bilateral relationship between Doctor and patient. Rare nowadays

Dr. Kelly is a rare find. He's a listener, meaning he notes and remembers that his patients are not a one size fits all group. If something works well, he keeps you on that track. If not, he has plenty of options. There is no reproaching his patients. He looks ahead with you, knows you are human, and gives you support. He also isn't a conveyor belt operation. He talks to you. I have always left knowing where my health progress stands. I've recommended him to others.

He's a pleasant doctor, but is he NOT open to different ideas. I brought him some new, well-researched information about a different approach to the old-time treatment he offered ("exercise more frequently") and he wouldn't hear of it. Well, he was polite when he used his "broken record" approach. (doctor): "I'm sorry, no. I'm sorry, but no. No, I'm sorry. Sorry, no. I'm very sorry, but that won't work." (me): "But all I would like to try is —" (doctor): I'm sorry, no...."

Dr. Kelly is the best physician my husband and I have ever had. We trust him to give us the professionalism, expertise and knowledge we need. His kindness, thoughtfulness and demeanor are appreciated too. He also provides answers, feedback and information on a timely basis and understands the patient's needs and concerns. He saved my husband's life by providing him with the preventative care tests necessary. I trust him and only him to always give us the highest quality health care.
