Lacking
Condescending is the perfect description of this arrogant man. I encountered him after an egregious incident in his ER. He never apologized for the neglectful care I received but told me my description of my discharge was "overreactive"! No, sir, I was literally wheeled out (same as kicked out) and should have remained for observation since I was in and out of consciousness. Knowing I had no control over the lower half of my body and unable to walk at all should have resulted in an observation in the hall at the very least, if not in my own room. This man is a piece of work. Avoid.

I work at a pharmacy and he called in a med with no directions. He called back and I put him on hold for the pharmacist who was busy doing vaccines. He cussed at me when I came back to the phone to let him know she was doing shots over something that was his fault.

The most arrogant doctor I've ever encountered. He addressed my mother & I as "sweetie" & "honey." Then, when I wanted my mom to have a ct scan, he told me he wouldn't have a "layman" trying to tell him what to do, and he threatened to have me thrown out. He's a terrible doctor and a horrible person.

Horrible. Condescending to people who are in a very emotional situation. Was so stunned by his attitude that you when he walks out it takes a moment to process what you just went through.

He prescribed antibiotics for my child when he didn’t need them at all. He guessed that he had strep. No concern or due diligence on his part to find out exactly what was wrong with my child.

Never had a worse doctor. He was rude and lectured me about birth control because he had to wait on a urine test before he could prescribe antibiotics. He then cut me open and packed a wounded soon as he injected me with lidocaine. I felt everything, as I'm screaming and crying in agony he proceeds to tell me I couldn't possibly feel that... Then he threw the bloody blanket on me and left me sitting in blood and pus. I had to call a nurse in to help my boyfriend clean me up 10 mins later.

This is the most rude, unprofessional physician I have EVER dealt with! I have been an RN for 35 yrs and a Nurse Practitioner for 14 yrs. My 8yo grandson was brought to the ER with 104 temp, lethargy, hallucinations, vomiting. This MD was condescending and offensive and tried his best to be intimidating. There is not enough room here to go into details. I have sent a letter to Mr.Elrod and encourage all who have had the misfortune to be seen by this MD to complain. NEVER go the this ER!!!!
