Strep Throat for 4 days and they can't get me in
I've been suffering from strep for 4 days now going on day five. 2 clients had it and I caught it from them. Called, said to get covid test and call back. Covid test was negative and called back. Nurse said they had no appointments available, and the next possible day is Friday and they are overbooked for that day. So by then I will be on day 7 and then it's the weekend. I've been going to this office since Dr.Freeze was there. Much friendlier staff and much more caring treatment. This is absolutely ridiculous, I'm getting worse, I'm also overseeing an elderly 94 year old and can't afford to have them catch strep. All I probably need is a ZPack, it would be a 5 minute appointment. I hear strep also has consequences with your heart if not treated. I will no longer recommend this place.

Dr. Irvin was a very nice man when he first opened. The last few years he's very agitated, he actually rolled his eyes at me when I mentioned going to a holistic specialist that fixed my stomach issues. Now upon picking up a prescription at the pharmacy, they tell me this is the last refill until you set up an appointment "And keep it". I said, "and keep it"? What is that supposed to mean? If I need an appointment, shouldn't my doctor's office call me and not try to set it up through my pharmacist? What the heck? The staff is rude and seems to enjoy belittling the patients. When they had Debbie working the office, it was ALWAYS a pleasant atmosphere, very welcoming, and I felt all of my privacy was secure. Not now.

Dr, Irvin is the BEST doctor in the Tri-State Area. Since I have had two rare disorders, he has kept me positive and does manipulations, which keep me functioning. He is an excellent diagnostician. He always know what to do for my unusual or normal problems. I am thankful he works with the Residents at Wheeling Hospital, so they can see the best qualities any doctor can have!

I have never seen Dr Irvin but his staff are some of the rudest people I have ever delt with. I called to ask a question and was hung up on by the office manager of all people. I called back to complain and another employee was just as rude. The staff represents Dr Irvin. What a shame.

I was a nurse for 21yrs, Dr. Irvin is by far one of the best doctors I have come to know, as I am a patient now. He is knowledgeable on unusual and rare issues and can spot them quickly. He takes his time, explains everything, and give recommendations that work. We are very happy to have such a good, intelligent and caring doctor as our family doctor.

When I first saw Irvin two years ago he blew off all my concerns as depression-related. Once I left his practice I was diagnosed with a rare, fatal, and life threatening illness. He was dismissive, insulting, and even mean. If you've got serious conerns or you're anything but "a man" this doctor is not the one you want. ..
