Dr. Gorman was on call the night I had an emergency situation, and I'm glad he was. I had plenty of questions and he carefully and patiently answered them all. I never felt rushed, nor did I get the feeling my concerns were unwarranted. In the future, if I need a surgery, and have the luxury of time to choose, I'd choose Dr. Gorman.

Dr Gorman is nothing short of Great! I have had 3 surgeries with him. 1 was elective and 2 were emergency. If I have any issues I go to the ER and request him and he is there within a few hours( he is a surgeon and is busy!) Yes, I have heard a lot of negative from people. He has Great Bedside manner. I will never want another surgeon ever. I trust him with my life and my family's life. If you ask me he is the best. He may seem rough around the edges and direct. But give him a chance.

Dr Richard Gorman is a wonderful surgeon. He made my husband and I feel VERY comfortable while discussing my surgery. 5 days after surgery and I'm doing everything as if I never even had surgery! His staff is always wonderful and informed! I would highly recommend him!

Dr. Gorman is an incompetent surgeon. The only reason anyone would recommend him is if you want to be disabled the rest of your life. Please, by all accounts go to him if you want to be in excruciating pain for the rest of your life, emotionally, mentally, and physically; that is if you survive his procedure. If you want to be surgically operated on by someone that has the nickname the butcher by his colleagues then no 'review' of his performance as a surgeon is going to stop you.
