Dr. Richard Enelow, MD

Six years ago I brought my ailing mother to Dr. Enelow for a second opinion. Our local hospital had misdiagnosed her with Ideopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. She had been recently hospitalized and nearly intubated. Her doctor had prescribed her with an obscene amount of prednisone, she required 24hr oxygen, & her sugar was through the roof from her medication. Her doctors gave her 6 months or less to live. My husband was working at Dartmouth at the time & Dr. Enelow was highly recommended by his colleagues. His office worked swiftly to get my mother seen and Dr. Enelow created a team of physicians to care for my mother, did necessary testing & created a cocktail of medications that made a considerable difference in a very short time. I truly believe that Dr. Enelow saved my mother’s life. He is an extremely knowledgeable physician & has a wonderful bedside manner. Today, my mother is thriving and hasn’t needed any additional medications or oxygen since her treatment ended over 5 years ago.

He seems a hoof doctor but seems to spend more time looking at the computer than talking to patients. I have not had him that long. The doctor I did have retired so was passed onto Dr Enelow. He is easy to ask questions and answers your concerns but I miss Dr Maher...(Mahyer??) not sure that spelling......Dr Goodman was my first lung dr, but he also left his practice and heads some hospital I think in Manchester. He was my absolute favorite.....most caring.
