Did not really provide confidence.
I have Afib and he was dismissive when it came to my questions regarding Cardioversion and Catheter Ablation. His recommendations were to keep taking Apixaban at $550.00 per month because of the potential for blood clots and Diltriazem to try and control the heart rate and just live with the Afib. That is just addressing the problems created by Afib and not fixing the underlying cause. Kind of like putting buckets on the floor of a house to catch water when it rains because there is a hole in the roof.

Talk about a God complex!
He was dismissive from the start. What a narrcacist! Then when I read the after summary there were so many lies he had written. He lied about discussing things we never discussed. He lied about things I supposedly said. He lied about things he said he told me. Do Better!

I was Dr Shadoff's patient for the past 17 years and was assigned to Dr Converse soon after Dr Shadoff's retirement from Pres. I have long history of cardiac issues, beginning with a massive heart attack in November 2000, followed by stents, finally resulting in a CABG in 2003. My first appoint ment with Dr Converse was in March this year. But what was shocking was the fact he came to the examination without reviewing my chart, neither did he spend time asking the relevant questions concerning my history. I need to call PMG and ask for a rplacement.

His staff was efficient and friendly. He is NOT. He did not listen. Cut me off before I could tell him what was going on. Told me my family’s history of heart problems was irrelevant. It was a waste of time. Seemed to be more concerned about my finances than my health. He was rude and dismissive!!

Dr. Converse took his time with me. He listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions. He never made me feel rushed. I was extremely anxious when I arrived, and he was able to address my fears and when I left, I was at ease. He is a very kind and understanding doctor. I was the last patient of the day on a Friday afternoon, and I never felt like the staff or the doctor were impatient to get out. They were very professional.

He may have been having a bad day, but DR Converse was arrogant with me and uninterested in my previous and family history.

Totally uninformed about medical issue, asked no questions, explained very little. The report he issued was incorrect as it noted no symptoms which was why we were referred to him by Pres ER. Very narcissistic behavior.
