I was first diagnosed in NJ. The doctor admitted he hadn't reviewed my test results but told me I was very sick. Biopsy hadn't been done yet, only an ultrasound he never looked at. I walked out, checked my insurance and found I could go to Fox Chase. Within 3 days I had an appointment. The staff made me feel safe. Dr Bleicher was a blessing. Very informative, truthful, caring and supportive. I've never felt so at ease in a medical facility as I did, or have since, at Fox Chase with Bleichers team. 10 years cancer free! Where you start does matter! Highly recommend Dr. Bleicher and Fox Chase. I'm truly blessed from my cancer experience thanks to Dr Bleicher and FCCC!

After being diagnosed with breast cancer in June, 2018, I went to Fox Chase Cancer Center for a second opinion. I was referred to Dr, Richard Bleicher, Oncology Surgeon, who performed a lumpectomy. I am a cancer survivor! No words can express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Bleicher and his extremely competent and compassionate team of oncology professionals, including Dr. Robert Carlson, Dr. Penny Anderson, Dr. Michael Millenson, Dr. Kristin Krause and many other colleagues and staff.

My love for Fox Chase Cancer Center lead me to Dr. Bleicher when I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer in Feb 2017. I came to him an emotional wreck, & left very optimistic that I was going to beat it!! He offered surgical options & a treatment plan which included a full team of colleagues to oversee my care. His compassion & confidence in his own surgical skills won me over....he's AMAZING!! I consider him more than my doctor...he is my ANGEL. He helped save my LIFE... & my breast!!

He failed to remove my primary site of cancer after 2 surgeries ( although it was clearly identifiable to outside doctors). When asked how this happened he blamed it on me and that I had gotten another opinion and had my biopsies done elsewhere prior to having him do the surgery. I would avoid him at all costs!!

Highly recommended. Knowledgeable, caring and reliable. From the first visit over 6 years ago, Dr Bleicher has been my biggest cheerleader. He assesses and quickly determines game plan. Very motivating just when it's needed. Takes special care to ensure all parts of your needs are met even when it's not surgical. Thank you FCCC for having such a physician who cares and really means it.

My sister was recently diagnosed with breast cancer after a few opinions we went to see Dr. Bleicher. He is so knowledgable and made sure we understood all our options and took so much time with us. He is a wonderful surgeon and has a great spirit as well. We are so grateful to have him as her doctor.
