I had the worst experience that I’ve ever had with a doctor with this guy. Condescending, paternalistic, barely let me get a word in, mansplained concepts that I fully understood to me, completely dismissive of everything I had to say. I am dealing with a number of issues that have eluded diagnosis by a number of doctors and tests so far have been normal. I’m used to this because I have a number of chronic illnesses and they often don’t show up on normal tests, or sometimes any tests at all. Most doctors understand this also and continue looking for uncommon diagnoses. Not this guy. He said he’d run one more test and if it came back normal, my problem was the medications I’ve been on for over a decade and have never before had any problems with. These are meds he was so unfamiliar with, he had to look them up during our appointment. And if it wasn’t the meds causing it, he told me it was likely all in my head. I could say more about how bad he was, but there’s a character limit.

Excellent care
I had my first colonoscopy yesterday at the Columbia, MD office and I couldn’t be more pleased with Dr. Andorsky and his staff. I was seen on time, everyone I dealt with was pleasant and professional, and they thoroughly explained the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Andorsky and Gastro Health.

For my 1st colonoscopy recently, I thought about using a female doctor, there are some in his practice, but based friends' recommendations, I chose him. The office requires you to mail in completed ppwk before they'll schedule your appt. You choose to have a separate consultation appt before the colonoscopy, or not; I did not, so we met before my procedure began. He explained everything thoroughly before & after the procedure. (the Anesth doc said "he's the best" during our pre-sedation talk.)
