needs new office personnel
He was my doctor from 2017 to 2019. He did major surgery on me, and now I'd like for him to make sure I'm still ok. But his office personnel will not give me an appointment. They tell me that the 'office manager' is the only one who can schedule me, but she won't call back! I'm sure Dr. Schmidt would be unhappy to know this! The women working in his office are playing God with people's lives. Who are they to keep patients from seeing their doctor?!

Wasted my time
Went to him weekly for months, ruptured abscesses and lots of breast changes lots of pain. And he had me come weekly & spend 7 minutes with me rushed me out the door come back again in a week. All he would ever do was a physical exam and take cultures of the fluid that was coming out of the abscesses. When it came back repeatedly with no bacteria at all "oh it was just wrong" so we have to do it again. After months of that he sent me to a different doctor and was pretty much done with me because he didn't have any answers. Told me my symptoms did not make sense so he gave up. Mind I did not have insurance so I felt like he did the minimum he had to do without any real testing or even a biopsy after months of no answers. It's year later I have problems still and it's moved to my other side. He has made me lose faith in doctors. All I can say is I hope it's nothing serious cuz karma...

Pre-op meeting was thorough and options offered. No pressure to choose one option over another. Surgery was effective with minimal scarring. Post-op with nurse was lower quality than expected (did not use gloves to remove tubes) and not explained. Follow-up with Dr. Schmidt was back to high standards and questions answered.
