Outstanding surgeon
Dr. Arendall is a skilled and dedicated neurosurgeon and caring physician. My scoliosis was diagnosed in my teens during the 1960’s. However, it did not significantly interfere with my life until 10 years ago. It then gradually started interfering with my daily living and career activitiesn. Because of Dr. Arendall’s expert care & surgical interventions, I was able to complete my professional career & retire when planned. Since then he has performed additional corrective procedures that have improved my quality of life. I am thankful I can still babysit the youngest of my 10 grandchildren and enjoy family, church & social events. Dr. Arendall has also operated on my husband, grandson, and son-in-law, with excellent results. I highly recommend Dr. Rex Arendall.

IVE had several surgeries done by Dr. Arendall had my last done December 9 1919 and my sure wont have any more mostly because of his staff lying to me about the percriptions which they wright. His nurse Pam darn right lied to me. Sent me home 1 day after surgery wrote me a scrip. for pain meds which was dated for 2018. I live out of state which my wife had to drive done to Tn. to get another script. I went a day without anything for pain. also she lied about how many they could write. no more will I go back to him

They don't require masks, for covid-19, even though the hospital website says they do.

I recommend Dr. Arendall to EVERYONE that tells me of their back troubles. I had my surgery back in 2009 and Dr. Arendall literally gave me my life back! My quality of life had deteriorated terribly because of the amount of pain I lived with in my back from injuries sustained from a car wreck almost 20 years earlier. I had two young children, and it was getting to the point I could barely walk. Recovery took a very long time however it was COMPLETELY worth it! Thank You Dr. A!

Dr.Arendall and his staff are wonderful! He has performed multiple surgeries on me from being injuried in a automobile accident. He and Pam are the only people that I completely trust. They r very professional and genuinely care about u. I live in Illinois 3 hrs. away, but wouldn’t go to anyone else! I have referred 15 people to him and ever one of them have been 100percent satisfied with their results! Excellent doctor and nurse practitioner(Pam)!Best Doctor in his field of practice hands down!!

I have had previous surgeries in my home city. Procedures that failed. I requested a referral to Dr Arendall and was seen in a very timely manner. Dr Arendall has an amazing bed side manner and a true compassion for his patients. He actually takes time to spend with each patient and listens closely to their concerns. He is very honest and thorough in explaining what needs to happen and why certain tests and procedures are needed. Would give him 10 stars if that were an option !

In late 92 a young lady got me in to see Dr. William Meacham. Dr.'s Hester and Johnston operated. I have had a terrible lumbar spine for 4 plus years now, and; every neurosurgeon basically dismissed me like I was nothing. Dr. Arendall, who worked with both Meacham and Hester, ordered a discogram and now he is going to do a staged ALIF of the L4-5 and L5-S1. The way he explained my spine/discs, the procedure, by using the model discs made everything clear. I have hope again thanks to Dr Arendall.

Patient since mid-90's with multiple lumbar and cervical surgeries due to really bad degen. disc disease. Always successful and relief from pain almost immediately following surgeries. Anytime I meet someone who is suffering from neck/back pain I recommend they see him even if they are out of state. Thorough in answering questions making sure you understand everything only recommends surgery if absolutely needed. Physical Therapist said Dr. Arendall's patients do so much better than others.

Office very difficult to contact - often does not return calls or emails - was supposed to have surgery this December for injury in August and nurse told insurance not to expedite it and so surgery was set for Jan with me having a 6K deductible - the doctor is excellent - though the constant myelograms are painful - but the rudeness of staff has forced me to switch doctors. Radiologists wrote severe damage - md said damage slight - don't know who to believe.

I have had a total of 5 brain surgeries with Dr. Arendall and Pam in the past 3 and a half years. Thru each surgery and all doctor visits the staff and both of them have been attentive and helped myself and my family understand more of what was going on. Dr. Arendall is very thorough with each step he takes, he wants to make sure that everything is covered. Pam and Dr. Arendall came into the office on a day they don't see patients and got me in due to some issues.
