Dr. Reuben Reich, MD

My husband and I each scheduled a visit with Dr. Reich for a full-body skin exam to establish a baseline. We were thoroughly satisfied with every aspect of the visit. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and Dr. Reich could not have been more personable, thorough or informative. He was prompt, took his time with the exam, and gladly answered any questions we had. We are happy to have found a pleasant, capable dermatologist in the East Bay area and highly recommend him.

Hands down THE BEST doctor I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. Dr. Reich is simply a good human being. As one of his patients, you can expect unbeatable bedside manner and advocacy for what's best for you! An 11 out of 10; you won't regret going to see him.

Dr. Reich is a nice guy personally, but after he completed a full body exam on me in July, I pointed out a red bump on my face. He said it was nothing to worry about. A week later it got larger. He rechecked it and sent a portion out for biopsy. His assistant called me and said it was only an epidermal cyst. I did not feel right about it and went to another doctor in Aug. who thought it looked suspicious and sent out another portion for biopsy. It came back as keratoacanthoma skin cancer. He had to perform Mohs surgery to stop the growth. Dr. Reich should have more concerned with this at the initial visit instead of dismissing it as a cyst.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Reich and my experience with him and his assistant Jane. The surgery went so well. They made me feel so heard and so relaxed, plus the results were the best. He has renewed my faith in Western medicine. Such a great listener, great sense of humor, and does excellent work. So lucky to have such a great team nearby! ps. Kate was also very good at listening and problem solving too.Keep up the great work guys!

Amazing! Dr Reich is a compassionate and wonderful doctor! He has such a soothing and nurturing way about him. More doctors should learn from Dr Reich and try to imitate his incredible bed side manner. He is highly skilled and very professional but most importantly he truly cares. He has removed several skin problems from me that were pre cancerous. He always helps me stay calm through the procedures with his calm and thoughtful demeanor. Thank you Dr Reich for all that you do!

The BEST dermatologists that I have ever used. He is extremely knowledgeable and explains things in a very clear and preside manner. He actually has a great personality, as well. I would give him greater than 5 stars, but this website won’t allow this rating!

July 2017 I went to see Dr Reich for a suspicious “freckle” on my arm: I had it looked at previously, but a Doctor from out of state after seeing me on two occasions said it was nothing When I saw Dr Reich he listened and seeing I was concerned said “will you feel better if I biopsy? I said definitely. The diagnosis was melanoma: He is a gifted person not only medically but also in reading his patients He got my melanoma taken care of immediately. I am so grateful for him

I love this guy...BEST Dermatologist that I have ever had. He explains everything in such a way that it makes it educational, as well. He is accessible; often can get an appointment within a few days when needed. I could not recommend any Dermatolost more.

Likelihood of recommending? I can't stop raving about how great I think Dr Reich is and the staff! I have the utmost confidence in him. He is very knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. He is thorough, which ... is a very humbling experience :) lol But he is very professional, and makes you at ease, explaining everything in a very calm and caring tone. ... again... Dr Reich is one of the best Doctors I know very knowledgble, and always spends time listening to your questions and concerns.
