Great Doctor
I have been seen by 4 different Endocrinologists for the last 15 years. By far Dr. Parab is the best. She takes the time to ask questions concerning my state between visits, fully explains all related lab results, and makes recommendations to improve my quality of life. She also has a friendly personality that puts one at ease. Highly recommend Dr. Parab.

If I could have left less, I would have. I have tried unsuccessfully for weeks to attempt to get an appointment with them. They insisted having records sent to them prior to answering any questions and prior to making first appointment and made the patient wait a full 2 weeks before setting up appointments I sent the records, waiting the required 2 week period, never received a response. Turns out, they do not provide service to persons under the age of 18. Don't waste your time or energy.

She's basically my drug dealer. If I'm lucky I'll see her maybe once a year (if I can even get an appointment). My blood sugar is completely out of control. She'll order labs and then just increase my insulin dosage. She does not listen to me whatsoever and her bedside manner, well quite frankly there isn't any. On a plus note the staff is awesome.

It takes a min. of 4-6 mths to get an appointment, as a repeat patient. After 3 years of never seeing an actual Dr. (nurse practitioner is who you get an appointment w/, although they charge your insurance as meeting with the endo.) I contacted my primary phys to refer to an active endo. Early stage kidney damage was found in urine and no additional testing was requested just meds (high risk) prescribed w/ an appt in a year from then. Save your time & kidneys seek another endo.

I moved to Fred from out of state. I have diagnosed Hashimoto's (from a previous endo). It took OVER 4 months to get in as a new patient. Blood work was done AFTER my initial meeting and minimal at best (not a full thyroid work up; only tested TSH, T3, T4, antibodies). I spent 15 minutes with her; bedside manner was awful, listening skills are worse. Her only solutions for treatment are the same as most medical professionals: increase dosage of current medication, see you in 6 months.

Dr Parab is a caring physician who helped me control my diabetes through a high risk pregnancy. Her support helped me surprise my OB-Gyn, who thought I would not go full term. Well I kept my blood sugar tightly controlled and went the full 40 weeks! I have a beautiful 6 year old today. She has been great since that time as well, and shows genuine concern about my well being. She is knowledgeable and will work with you to find the right level and combination of medication or insulin you need.
