Dr. Renee West, MD

We saw Dr. West in urgent care. She was quick and cold said my daughter had a virus 2 days later she has spots in her throat. We do a connect call they say they believe it’s strep and to call the Dr. I spend forever on hold 3x asking to get an antibiotic called in and explained the situation. They just kept saying they’d talk to her and call me I had to keep calling them and then in the end she still wouldn’t call one in! Had to do a 3rd appt for strep throat. So not helpful at all and awful dealing with the office too. No more Ogden Clinic for me!!

She is a very competent doctor who provides excellent service to patients.

Renee has been our doctor for 10 years and we have been through a lot. I appreciate her professionalism and interest. Her staff are really incredible and easy to reach out to.

I would give 0 stars if I could. she prescibed medication that I have an allergy to. Ended up with hives over most of my body. Yes, she reviewed allergies with me. Not feeling well and assuming medication cough syrup was same as my husbands, he was also sick ( RSV and Sinus infect ) and saw a different MD. we had just returned from mexico the previous week. I was found to be negative for influenza and strep. Dr. West stated I could have a special test done that costs about 190 dollars not covered by insurance. I went home, my ears were plugged, sore throat, fever on and off, body aches and no energy. then to take the cough syrup ( yes, I sure should have looked at it ) and get hives the size of dimes over my entire body. Called clinic several times with staff stating they would relay info ASAP - and yet here we are months later, STILL with no communication. When you feel so sick, sore to swallow from coughing so hard and then vomit because you are coughing. Well, not fun.

Dr West has been my doctor for many years and I am completely satisfied with her.

Dr. West was very thorough and easy to talk to. I would recommend her to family and friends.

Dr West saved my life by actually making an appointment for me to get a mammogram. Love Dr West! She is always kind and friendly. I also really like Tammy, her assistant.

Unexplained pain. Blood tests and xrays were ordered and done so fast that I was given a prescription and pain relief before I left the office. Usual wait for labs is longer so this was pleasant. Dr. West is personable and unflappable.

She was very professional and very kind

I brought my son to the instacare to be examined for extreme itching in his upper back and chest. Dr. West said what she thought might be the cause without ever even asking to examine his skin. She didn’t even ask for him to take his shirt off. She also never asked for any medical history or recent illnesses. No lab work or further questions were asked, just sent us on our way with a possible diagnosis of “reaction to chlorine”. In the moment I was very worried and stressed but afterwards thought of all the things I felt were not addressed. The next day I had to pay to go to a different physician because his symptoms got worse. What was the point? Clearly Dr. West could have spent more time trying to figure out what was wrong. This was a very disappointing experience with Ogden Clinic.

Dr west is always very pleasant and thorough

If I could give 0 stars I would. Do yourself a favor and don’t see Dr. West. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated as poorly as I was by her. Her bedside manner was awful and when answering my questions her tone made it sound like I was stupid for asking. I don’t know if it was just a bad day, but I left feeling worse than when I came in.

Dr West made me feel comfortable. Which really helped .. She was very knowledgable and made me a apt with a specialist before I left.. great service ...

Dr West listens carefully to me, and has a kind and personable nature. She has been my primary care doctor for many years now. I trust her, and also her staff. I truly appreciate Dr. West and her knowledge, combined with her ability to identify with me as a human being and a woman. I have actually been coming to Ogden Clinic for over 50 years. Dr Monson was my OB/GYN, and Dr Burdett was our Pediatrician.

She was very kind, knowledgeable and efficient...and she answered all of my questions.

Dr West is an excellent Dr and has my full confidence.

I went to get some paperwork filled out and Renee was knowledgeable, kind, efficient and helpful. I have seen for more than 4 years and I have always enjoyed our visits.

I went in for a headache and cough. Checked my ears; not my nose, did bloodwork, sent me for a CT. Doc came back and said it was a sinus infection, antibiotics and on my way. Three days later, still headache and getting worse. Went back in, saw a different doctor. More bloodwork, apparently a chest xray was ordered but never done. Chest xray revealed pnemonia in my right lung. Had west 1. checked my nose and 2. done the xray I would not be in suffering, miserable pain by her misdiagnosis and missing work I cannot afford to miss. I will not be seeing West again.

Thorough visit with many questions answered. I received a needed immunization and a referral for another needed test. Dr West listened carefully and did not seem rushed and genuinely interested in me and my health concerns. She is the best. I had a mammogram just before my appointment with Dr West and the results were already in so she could share them with me. That was impressive and quite unexpected.

Yearly physical... Dr. West has been my primary doctor for 13 years now .. She’s awesome , she answers all my questions no matter how big or small ... I like it too when she’s ask if I have any questions or concerns ...
