Wonderful doctor
I hated going to the Dr's office til I met Dr. Patel. LOVE her! She is intelligent, kind, responsive and not condescending at all. One of the best doctors that I've had in my 69 years.

Very impressed with Dr Patel. She called me herself to tell me my MRI was read wrong and the cyst had gotten smaller. Saved me from having more unneeded tests.

She was rude, condescending, defensive and argumentative to such an extreme that I couldn't talk to her anymore. I had to abruptly leave the conversation, if you can call it a conversation, it was more of her making an argument to everything I was trying to tell her. She is a nightmare. Stay far far away!

Terrible bedside manner
Comically bad bedside manner. Unprofessional and condescending to such an extreme that it’s actually funny. Would not recommend. Dangerous.

Unbelievably unprofessional
This doctor wasso rude! Told me I was headed to fatty liver disease without even getting my history and physical. Not even 5 minues into my 1st visit and she was so appalling and basically assumed that all my medical conditions were due to my neglect, which I denied since I have a constellation of conditions and a notable family history and that is why I wanted to give her my history. I’ve been a BSN RN for 17 years and told her have been nothing but careful with my health. She basically said it doesn’t matter if I’m an nurse because she’s had a lot of nurses come in that didn’t know what they’re doing. She said she didn’t need to hear about my history from 10 years ago because she’s treating me now. This was despite me saying all of this started not even 5 years ago. It left me speechless as a nurse who would never treat patients this way. Never had I experienced such medical gaslighting. I decided to cancel right then because it felt unsafe at that point!

Amazing physician!
Dr. Patel is kind, compassionate, smart, and I hope to be under her care for a long time to come. She offered me the solutions for decades long issues! I was never dismissed or made to feel crazy. I’ve been seeing Dr. Patel for just over two years and I’m still so impressed every time I see her. And it feels amazing to actually have a solution to my health issues.

Best G.I. Dr.
Dr. Patel is a wonderful doctor. She was a good listener and very knowledgeable. She thoroughly explained options and treatments. She understood my anxiety about the visit. I have confidence in her assessment of my condition. I wouldn't hesitate to send my family or friends to her.

condescending and dismissive
I saw Dr Patel to dress some debilitating symptoms I've experienced for nearly 6 mos now. The Doctor I was referred to within her practice had a very long waitlist so I settled for the first available. Not only did she barely give me a chance to describe my symptoms, I was told they were all in my head, and I have to get my anxiety under control. I don't have anxiety, but I do have consistent discomfort in my abdomen. Medical Gaslighting is at an all time high. Please be sure to advocate for your own well being. I left frustrated and very upset.

Great doctor.
I have been seeing Dr Patel for about 1 yr. I found her to be knowledgeable & thorough. She listens to everything I have to say and then develops a plan with me that I can actually adhere to and live with. That is so different then so many GI doctors I’ve seen over the years who after sharing my story, just give the text book answer. “Just do this “ and doing “this” just didn’t work. Dr Patel individualized my care in order to help me improve my health. She has made a difference for me. When I had to have procedures done, Dr. Patel was very gentle in her voice, kind & reassuring. I knew she would take care of me and I had zero worries. In the office she is still kind and reassuring and never makes me feel rushed, but she is more to the point. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. I don’t always need a hand holder. I need a knowledgeable doctor who listens and responds. I do very much like her as a person. I feel very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Reena Patel.
