Not thorough
She didn't listen to my history of bad upper and lower GI problems, family history of GI cancer, and need for colonoscopies and upper endoscopies every few years (as recommended by previous GI doctors). If she didn't agree with my former doctors, she should have told me and explained why. I just had a quick appointment and told to come back to see her in a year. I had to switch doctors because of insurance but I'm going back to my previous GI doctor. Health is more important than money.

Dismissed and Double Charged
Dr. Tsang was pleasant and initially appeared to be listening to my symptoms and concerns. I was unable to keep food down for several weeks. She suggested a gastric emptying study. Apparently, she didn't see the urgency though as it was scheduled two weeks out. I found another doctor who diagnosed me and got me in for the surgery that I needed right away. In addition to the lack of concern, I was charged for hospital services not rendered. It is listed on the invoice as a separate visit# on the same day. The billing department said the charge was due to the office location being on hospital grounds. I was not informed of this charge in advance. Total money grab in my opinion and I'll be appealing it with my insurance. If you have an appointment at 2150 Pfingsten Rd Ste 3000 Glenview, IL. be prepared to pay towards the office rent as well.

Negligence
The scheduling office was a nightmare. I wasn’t given proper preparatory information of all tests I needed done ahead of time and was able to do so only by calling the helpline and figuring it out last minute. I saw the resident longer than I saw the doctor. I had both a colonoscopy and endoscopy done and the doctor claimed there was nothing wrong with me and just told me to eat more food. I got diagnosed with SIBO by a functional doctor four months later.

I was referred to Dr Tsang for a colonoscopy following an episode of diverticulitis and/or appendicitis, it wasn't clear on the CT scan. Having now had multiple colonoscopies and seen multiple doctors, I can say that she is fantastic. She recommended the most conservative, lest invasive approach to treatment and I'm doing well. I am so delighted to have found my go-to gastroenterologist. The staff working with her was wonderful as well.

Had my first and only endoscope and colonoscopy done on the same day by Dr Tsang. She was very kind and professional. Explaining everything before, during, and after the procedures. I would highly recommend her to anyone having to have these procedures especially anyone as scared as I was to go through these procedures. Thank you Dr Tsang !
