Don't
Don't waste your time with this, 'Neurologist.' She didn't even know there was a higher dose of a medication I needed. I asked her and she said, point-blank, 'No, but you can take your current dose more often.' I finally went to Duke and found a good doctor who prescribed the higher dose that I needed.

I didn't get to meet her...
What stood out on my Dad's visit to the doctor... I'm his biological daughter and couldn't go back with him and ? step-mom. He was excited about me going this time as well as I was, just to be told I couldn't go back with him... He had been through near death experiences since he was last seen, things had been said and things had happened during this time, where I wanted to be there to listen to what was said and be his advocate if necessary... I was told to read the summary, and ask my mom and dad... my dad has dementia. I think the policy needs a review... and put yourself in these shoes.

Went in because my wife believed I had Parkinson's due to many red flags and looking at the indicators on the website, as well as having a parent with Parkinson's. On 2 subsequent appointments, Dr Tat insisted I did NOT have Parkinson's. We moved out of state shortly after and I sought an opinion with a Neurologist with 35+ years experience who ran a DAT scan and did a thorough evaluation that determined that I DID have Parkinson's which was followed up with an additional 2nd opinion. Now 2 1/2 years out from seeing Dr Tat I have advanced to the point of being recommended for Deep Brain Stimulation. So - Dr Tat, THANKS FOR NOTHING!

Dismissive. Completely missed my diagnosis in which she specializes. Save yourself. Don’t go to her.

I went to see Dr. Tat about my essential tremor. She completely ignored everything I told her. She said nothing would help, except psychotherapy. She ignored the fact that my mother had essential tremor, along with 2 brothers and 1 sister. I have been sad over the loss of my 7yr. old grandson, who wouldn't be, but this has been going on for years. Just because I miss him, doesn't mean it is psychological. She doesn't listen at all!

Dr. Tat is a nice lady. Listen to my concerns. My issue is that I did not see the full doctor reports until a year or two later. It turns out they were not accurate. Had I seen the comments that are in the report, I would have asked more questions and asked for it to be corrected. The records indicate that I have symptoms that I do not have. I have called to try and get it worked out and the doctor does no want to talk to me. If you see her make sure you get a copy of the final report BEFORE you leave the office.

My dad recently went through a major life change with some neurological changes causing significant cognitive changes. Dr. Tat diagnosed himand after begging her for additional neurological assessments Dr. Tat's assistant shared results that my dad was just depressed and he should see a counselor, but my dad is almost a completely different person. I work in healthcare. He is depressed, but Dr. Tat missed some obvious signs that this goes way beyond depression.
