Amazing Gastro! Run to her!
Dr Scherr is incredible! She truly is an angel on earth. Our child was suffering every single day of their life due to a Gtube. We were desperate, so when we saw Dr. Scherr, she went to work to try and help us. In time, Dr. Scherr was willing to give us a shot, and allowed our child to try and wean off the tube. It was the best decision for our child! In every way, our child improved drastically and very quickly! Dr. Scherr allowed for us to take their final wean away and ultimately their tube. Our child’s life is amazing now thanks to Dr. Scherr. Also as parents, our lives will continue to get better from here now. Something we thought may never happen. Thank you will never be enough for what you’ve done for our child and family!

Takes time to listen
Dr. Scherr spent 2hrs brainstorming with me when we went to her for a second opinion. Our other GI wouldn’t admit he was wrong and Dr Scherr agreed with our assessment and even found some solutions to other issues we didn’t notice. We switched to her permanently after the ori gal provider continued to be difficult. We haven’t had to have a 2hr visit since the first visit. It is really hard getting ahold of the nurse though. She is in UNLV health so they control the staffing. They are mostly ok just really busy.

Just like every other Ped's GI in this town. Doesn't spend the time to address needs and is surgery happy instead of treating the problem.

In just two visits she knew what was wrong with our daughter. Best Gi dr in town!! She’s amazing, you can ask questions and get straight answers.

We changed insurance carriers in order to take our son to Dr. Scherr. my son had constant stomach pain, on several meds for acid reflux. She concluded it was his diet and to continue with 40ml of omeprazole acid meds plus added some other acid reducer loratadine at his 74lbs. We ask about and endoscopy,and did not seem interested in doing that much. nothing improved while she was under her care. changed insurance again so it could see a gastro Dr. he had seen earlier in his life, with no diagnosis. Dr. was better, son could explain symtoms better, had an endoscopy and colonoscopy yesterday, found lesions in his esophagus ---wish she would have taken him more seriously. we could have known there was a problem 5 years ago
