Dr. Rebecca Ridenhour, MD

It is always a pleasure working with Dr. Ridenhour keeping my GYN issues in check. She is caring, listens, and always treats her patients with care.

I think Dr. Ridenhour is amazing. She takes the time to listen to any concerns that you may have and she has a great personality. If I have any concerns, she answers all of my questions and provides the things that I would need to make things better.

If you are healthy and have simply annual checkup, she is okay. but once you becomes sick, she does not have any clue about treatment. I doubt if she has enough medical knowledge or skill. Maybe because she works part time, she does not have enough experience or did not have time to build up skills. When I was seriously sick, she did not suggest solution and abandoned me. She did not call me, did not make appointment with me, did not setup surgery or treatment schedule on time. I was lucky to find another doctor with medical professional knowledge and skill and got treatment on time. Will never meet her again.

Since I moved, I now travel 4 hours to see her. I saw 2 obgyn's in my new location and they didn't do half the job of Dr. Ridenhour. She's caring, considerate and very thorough. She always takes the time to listen my concerns and put them to rest or do testing if necessary. I was dealing with pelvic pain for 4 months that 2 other doctors dismissed. I cant say enough good things about her. I do drive 4 hours to see her and I can't wait to tell her I'm finally pregnant this Friday the 21st. Seriously the best doctor I've ever seen.

She is very kind; however, she does not know anything about the side effects of medicines and forgets what medical conditions the patient has. Also, her physical examination is 1/3 what I used to receive from another physician in the group that retired. She does not have confidence, and this translates as a patient not having any in her either.
