This doctor is intelligent and spends time with you, however, after repeatedly conveying to her that I would like to find out what's wrong with my back, over the course of 2-3 years, I still haven't gotten an answer. She referred me to a pain specialist, but that is not what I requested. I want someone to examine me and tell me what problems I have causing the pain. Anyone can prescribe pain meds. It is very frustrating as a patient when I know they (Novant) are receiving very good insurance payments for my care. Frustrating doesn't begin to describe it actually.
