Expert Care
I had an amazing experience with Dr Freeman. I came into her care with an emergency appendectomy. Given the nature of an unexpected surgery, she provided a tremendous amount of comfort and confidence in the successful outcome of the procedure. Prior to the surgery she discussed all of the options, risks, and outcomes. And after the surgery, she came to my room to make sure my questions and concerns were answered. Two weeks later, she followed up with a phone call to check-in on how I was healing and to further cement herself as one of the best doctors I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Thank you Dr Freeman, and for the above-and-beyond care you provided.

She spent a long time with me talking about my surgery. She drew a lot of pictures and answered a lot of questions for me and my family. She got me scheduled within a few weeks and my surgery went well. It was a camera surgery so I recovered really fast.

Hiatal Hernia Surgery
Dr. Freeman did my hiatal hernia surgery on a Saturday and I went home the next day. I was in so much discomfort before and I was having trouble swallowing and I feel so much better now. I felt like every step of the way she explained things to me so that I could understand. The Providence nurses in the pre and postop also took great care of me. Can't say enough good things about the experience.

Recommend? ABSOLUTELY NOT! She performed a hernia operation on me and I am still suffering from painful complications almost a year later (Mar 2020). Allowing her to practice on me was the worst decision of my life.

5 stars doesn't tell the full story. Dr. Freeman provides exceptional care and in my opinion is a fantastic doctor and surgeon. She recently performed an inguinal hernia repair for me. My case was a known recurrent L hernia and a suspected recurrent R hernia. She clearly communicated with me about her medical opinion and plan for my case. She is friendly and happily and patiently answered all my and my wife's questions. My surgical outcome was better than expected, not only did she repair both L and R hernias but I am also benefiting from 100% relief from femoral nerve pain I was experiencing before the surgery. Thank you Dr. Freeman!!! :D

I had an emergency call badder removal ( I was in the ER late Thursday night and in surgery by 3:30 Friday afternoon) and Dr. Freeman was the surgeon. She was knowledgeable, reassuring and confident; pretty much everything I could hope for in a surgeon. She explained the procedure in detail, to include a deviation from the normal procedure she would have to make due to a previous hernia surgery I had 10 years ago. The surgery went better than I would have expected and unlike some providers that

My appointment was on time. Dr. Freeman was upbeat and cheerful. She fully explained what was going on with my arm and what to expect before, during an after surgery. The actual surgery was as pleasant as could be expected. The support staff was awesome. In and out in less than three hours. Everything was healed in less than two weeks, thanks to minimally invasive surgery. Thanks, Dr. Freeman.
