Dr. Raza Hassan, MD

I've been a patient of Doc Hassan for years and he is always on top of my care and really focuses on preventive items to keep me from having larger issues in the future. He listens intently and makes sure he reviews any changes and then help with recommendations and proper treatment. Many doctors try to push you through their appointments and only pay attention to a few items, but Doc Hassan is very thorough and engaged in my well being.

Dr. Hassan is an excellent and knowledgeable physician. He has helped me with my cardiac problems over the past several years and when I had a health problem (non cardiac) a few years ago he made sure that I was referred to the appropriate specialist to seek treatment for that issue. I’m very thankful for him and appreciate all he has done to help me.

I agree he is arrogant, rude and is very inappropriate in his interaction with patients and the families. He actually told me my husband’s condition was “too complicated and out of his area so he was passing him on to Greenville”. When I asked a question he asked me,”where did you get your medical degree”. He said he had no reason to answer or discuss it any further he was handing off to Greenville. Dr. Hassan is arrogant, rude and unprofessional in his interactions with other health care professionals he believes are "beneath" him. He also does not have an understanding of who has access to medical records and chart information in the continuum of care. He believes that just because he has certain information that all providers in every aspect of a patient's care have the same information or same access to said information. This is a very presumptive and 100 incorrect belief.

Dr. Hassan has adjusted my heart like a master jeweler wth a fine watch and I have had several heart problems over the years. Wouldn’t trade him for any cardiologist in the country. He is intelligent, attentive and personable.
