In 1993 my child was rushed from my hometown hospital, about an hour away, to Children's in New Orleans. He had been at the other hospital for 7 days, at the tender age of only 2 months, 'dying' from a simple virus. The other doctors, 3 to be exact, couldn't 'figure it out'. I stayed by my son's bed, not even recalling when I ever left to go to the bathroom. Within only a few hours after seeing Dr. Raynorda Brown my son began to respond. Her techniques, skills and knowledge seemed so effortless, it looked like common sense. She administered a simple plan I could follow along with the nurses and my son regained more and more 'life'. We spent about 7 days there as well, and was packed and ready to go home to lead a wonderful, healthy life. My son has graduated from college, is an entrepreneur and author, and is about to get married. Thank you Dr. Brown. God bless you! My son saw Dr Brown from the age of 8 until 18 when he went off to college. He would have never quit seeing her if he didn’t have to. She always spent a lot of time with us. She explained everything to us very thoroughly. She was compassionate and we will always love her for the care she gave him. One of the best physicians I’ve ever known.
